If you fear getting started (again) this post is for you

The power of a new idea is often measured by the resistence that it meets.

The fear you feel is natural. But, it is your souls way of telling you that you must take action.

First. You are not alone. We all understand that fear because we have all experienced it to one degree or another.

Second. Do not let the size of the problem keep you from attacking it. Worry about the next pound not the last one.

Third. Listen to these people. They know what to do and they care enough to help. You will never find a safer place.

We move and motivate each other. The person that helped me the most was a women in another club that had a most devistating life. She lost her life partner to suicide. Her world was upside down and she turned to every kind of escape that she could find. Drugs, Alcohol and food, among others. Everyone understood her reasons but she became addicted. She had to beat the addictions to all of these to get free. She did it with help of rehab, AA and WW. She gave me the signature line that I use today.
As long as I don't quit, I cannot fail.
I believe in it still.

You have come to the right place.
hang in, find your strengths and use them..

You know I love this CW. When things are starting to feel uninteresting, boring and hard, I ask myself, What am I resisting? Usually that is what I need to work most on. Right now, that is cooking and planning!

Thanks for reminding me!

Thanks for the great words, CW.
For some reason even with an amazingly good weigh in this Saturday I was feeling the 'miles to go' blues this morning. Your post was right on time for me.
:bcb_kick: no quitting here!

You are a blessing to me, CW. Thank you for bumping this!
If I might ask...you said one time about time passing regardless of whether we are OP or not and we might as well pass it getting healthy....do you remember exactly how you worded that? If so, can you share?? I just tried to word it for a buddy on the Commandos thread and would love to quote you directly since you word these thoughts so much better than I do!!

I bow to David as the Wordsmith of BCB. But, you had most of it already. If I remember it correctely the thought was:
Time will pass whether we take action or not. We can either look back on this time (Today) and be glad we started or we can wish we had.

Thanks for your kind words:bcb_happy

My favorite part--sometimes it seems insurmountable, yet I see so much success around me that I know it isn't...as usual, great words of wisdom, CW. :salut
