I'm so pissed that Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) is leaving the show!!!

She is my favorite character and I was really loving the Sara/Grissom relationship. What the heck? I had no idea this was going to happen. And I have been reading online that she just wants to see what else is out there. So she really gone!

Does anyone else know anything else? Could this possibly be a major publicity stunt and they would bring her back in later episodes?

haha oh man, i am totally the opposite of you guys. i am SO glad that she is gone, and i fear that they will bring her back, since they kinda left the storyline open. i think it would've been better if she had died when she was stuck under that car...that's just me, though, she drives me nuts~!!

Sarahjane, I used to feel the SAME way when I first started watching the show. However, she has just grown on me over the years somehow. And the relationship with Grissom was just icing on the cake. Now, Catherine is the one who gets on my nerves.

I do think that it will be interesting to see Grissom's reaction. Since he was so so hesitant about getting involved in the first place.

I had the feeling from her interview that this wasn't the producer's decision. It was hers. (Who leaves a show when it's getting great reviews?????)

I had read before last season ended that she was having some issues with the producers. Then she came out and said she was leaving on her own terms to explore other possibilities.

I too liked the Grissom/Sara relationship. Two odd ducks that found each other. But the way last week's show ended I think leaves room for her to come back. So, let her explore her other possibilities. Maybe she'll be back - a newer, better Sara with all her demons buried.

I read last season that she was supposed to die in the car, but she didn't show up because she didn't want off the show. Then when she was back this year I thought everything was settled - I am so bummed out that it isn't true!

I really liked her character, but wonder what other options she really has out there. It reminds me off that red haired guy on CSI Miami. He left a popular show too because he thought he would make it big and now he is back on a spin off that is no where as good as the original; and he has the cheesiest!
