What could be easier than Jell-o??? This tastes just like spiced apple rings. Very yummy with turkey!

2 boxes of sugar free cranberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups ice and water
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 large, apple, diced (peeled or unpeeled- it doesn't matter)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch cloves

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Let stand. Meanwhile, mix cranberry sauce, spices, and apple. Mix cold water into gelatin and stir well until syrupy. Remove any ice that doesn't melt, then add to cranberry mixture. Pour into mold and chill.

This sounds great! Any idea what the points are for it? I make another one that's really good. Here 'tis:

1 Granny Smith apple, diced
2 ribs of celery, diced,
1 can of whole cranberry sauce
Optional: about 1/2 c. of chopped pecans or walnuts (leave these out if you want to keep the points value lower.)

This is really delicious (and very simple,) and I'm thinking of making it without the nuts and just putting a little dish of them on the side at Thanksgiving so that people can sprinkle them on if they want to. Sorry, but I don't know the points value. I usually double the recipe if I'm serving a 10-15 people.

Oh, yum! I'm going to have to try yours, chefbna. Cinnamony-appley-cranberry goodness!
I made outtatime's recipe last year and it was a hit.
