GH's Night Shift anyone?

I was really looking forward to watching this, even if it was on at 11:00. I figured one night a week, for 13 weeks, I'd stay up! Now, I'm not so sure. I thought it would be a continuation of GH daytime show, but it's not. Did anyone watch it? I hadn't watched Thursday's daytime show first (it was recorded), so when I saw Jason on Night Watch, I figured they'd gotten him out of prison during the day. Um, no! I thought they'd show Spinelli shooting himself in the foot during the day. Um, no!!! It was as if the Night Shift has nothing at all to do with the daytime show. Very strange. Hard to watch it when you know those things aren't really happening during the daytime show.

I did see it...I liked it but also am very surprised that Jason is out of jail for those episodes. I think it should continue along the same lines as GH but had read that it asn't going too. I like Robin and Patricks characters and they aren't on as much as I think they should be at least on GH. To see these 2 I think I am going to tune into night shift. I kind of hoped it ould continue along the same storylines as GH.

Oh, thank you Charlene!! I really was starting to think I was all alone, the only one watching! I'll watch it again this week, but then we'll see. I really shouldn't stay up till midnight watching TV once I'm back at work!! We shall see!

I watched it too! Just like you I hadn't seen that day's GH so when I saw Jason get out of the car I literally sat straight up on the couch and was totally shocked. I was afraid I'd missed something so I stopped NS and turned on the GH I'd tivoed. No Jason getting out of jail! It was crazy.

I'll keep watching it, at least for a while, since I can tivo it. There's no way I'd make it up until 12 though!

On a side GH note.....what do you think will end up happenign between Jason, Sam & Elizabeth? I really like Jason & Liz together...I've never been a big fan of Sam. NS makes it look like there's going to be some wierd triangle thing between Jason, Robin, & Patrick, though. OMG....how much I would LOVE for Jason & Robin to get back together! I loved them as a couple!

hey, first time I've ever posted on here-(I usually post on the 100 board) but I have to say as a fan of GH since the Luke/Laura days, I really do not like Nightshift. I am not a fan of Robin, (although I can put up with her if it means looking at Patrick-LOL)..I doubt I will watch it again. I agree with scgirl-I would love to see Jason and Liz get together.

Well, I watched it last night, and I'm thinking it'll be the last time. What a waste. What's the point? And, what did they do with the REAL Jason? That persons pretending to be him is not the Jason we all know and love :bcb_grin He smiles too much, and just doesn't act like the Jason character we know.

I'm still trying to figure out if there's an actual story line to follow? The person in bandages? Are they trying to imply it's Brenda? Cause what will they do with that character after the bandages come off? They're certainly not going to have some gorgeous actress have burns all over them, will they? I think NOT!

OMG...Laurdee I was just coming here to post the same thing! I just got done watching it and was sondering if I was just on crack, or are they trying to bring Brenda back???? I would LOVE that...Brenda is my all time fav character on GH. I was so sad when she left.

I agree about Jason too though....what's up with that? The whole way they brought Jason on the show and the way he's acting is so strange.

Kristie, I went on the Soapnet website and read some of the messages there. Boy, some of them are just ga-ga over the show! I mean, they don't want to hear any negative comments...say things like, if you don't like it don't watch it! Fine, I feel the same way, but they just don't want to hear ANYthing negative! And, there are plenty of negative comments there.

I suppose the only way to watch it is to completely ignore the story line from during the day, and just follow each one separately. Not an easy task!

Oh well, looks like I won't have to stay up so late on Thursday nights!:bcb_grin

That's crazy. How in the world can you watch that show and ignore the regular storylines? I still have the hardest time watching that Las Vegas show (DH likes it) without thinking of her as "Brenda"....there's no way I could watch NS and not think about what happened during the day show.

I'll probably keep watching it during the summer, but when work starts back, I doubt I'll continue. It's hard enough to watch my tivoed reg GH during the school year and NS is not nearly as good!

Unless its like in the future... after Jason gets out.

I loved PORT CHARLES. That was the greatest!!! I really miss LUCY and KEVIN.
