I'm new to BCB so hello to everyone. I'm restarting the weight loss I've been struggling with my whole life. After getting to 390 pounds at 5'5", I'd had enough. On my 45th birthday (six years ago) I had a gastric bypass---the best thing I ever did. I got to 225, which I maintained for years. In the past year or so, I decided I could drink a lot and continue to eat whatever I wanted and managed to work myself up to 257.

So last Tuesday, I decided to take control of my life again and got my hiney to WW. In the past, I've always managed to lose a lot of weight safely on the program and that is my main goal. I've stopped drinking, I've begun parking my car at the end of the lot, and I have my first weigh-in in four days.

So far, it's going well and I'm finding that I'm having to scramble to get my points in.

Any encouragement or feedback is very welcome!

Welcome to BCB.......

You are doing the right thing....get it under control before it controls you for good!

By slowly adding in some activity to your points counting and getting your healthy 8's, you will see weight coming off....

Attending meetings may also increase your chance for success....there are many on this site I envy because they can do WW from home, I am not one of them.....LOL

Happy losing!

Keep scrambling. Getting enough fuel is as important as exercise, water and rest. All 4 will increase your metabolism.

Welcome.
