Hi everyone, I can't wait to get started and am so glad to have found this site to help me along the way.

I was very active in H.S. and was at a healthy weight at around 135lbs at 5'6''. When i attended college I lost my scheduled workouts that I used to have with sports practice for 2hrs a day and I kept eating the same and probably even worse when you add in the partying. Anywho, by the time I graduated and spent 6mo. looking for a job ( a very low emotional time for me) I was up to 160lbs. This was a wake up call so I got a gym membership and started training for my first half marathon. I found out I love running and the training program for the race gave me the structure I needed. So within a few years I was down to 140-145 and very fit and happy and kept the weight off until my wedding this past October.

After the wedding I just stopped working out and the leftover cheesecake was to much to resist and my eating habbits went down the tubes. So after the new years I found myself up to 155lbs and climbing and had to take a stand. So, here I am a newbie WW member and I can't wait to get started.

Hi Stacy!

Welcome!

Funny how college & getting married always aid in weight gain. I'm guilty too. Throw in a couple of kids and whoa, things can get out of control quickly!

Congrats on your recent wedding & best of luck getting to where you want to be. This is a fantastic site and you will find many people who will give you advice or lend an ear if you need to vent. Check out the recipes for some great meal ideas. Also, check out the buddy folders!

Happy New Year!!

Welcome to BCB, Stacy. Are you going to start running again? We have a runners' thread (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/showthread.php?t=149464) if you're interested. :) Find a home board or two (either by age (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7), buddy system (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72), or buddy groups (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2)) and post often for support! We're glad to have you. :salut
