It's time to pledge our exercise for January. I didn't make December, so I'm determined to hit the mark this month.
I pledge 1100 minutes, 160 of which are very vigorous (sprints)

January 2 50 minutes Xtreme makeover video (12 vigorous)
January 3 20 minutes walking
January 4 75 at the gym (25 vigorous) Wow, I'm tired
January 6 30 personal training
January 7 90 at the gym (10 vigorous)
January 8 75 at gym (10 vigorous)
January 10 75 at the gym (10 vigorous)
January 11 55 at the gym (3 vigorous)
January 13 60 at the gym (10 vigorous)
January 15 60 at the gym (10 vigorous)
January 18 90 at the gym
January 19 70 at the gym (10 vigorous)
January 22 60 at the gym
January 24 60 at the gym (10 vigorous)

Thanks for starting this thread, Jofantioch. I've enjoyed the monthly challenges very much. I know if I didn't participate in them, it would be so easy to slack off. I feel better when I take the time to exercise. It's what I do for me every day.
For the month of January, I pledge 25 days and 2000 minutes of exercise. I'm also going to make note of calories burned per workout which is reflected on my heart rate monitor.
1/1: 105 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned
1/2: 120 minutes at the gym and 831 calories burned (that was way too long!)
1/3: Sick as a dawg! I tried to exercise but the body was just not cooperating
1/4: 90 minutes cycling and 635 calories burned (maybe the gym tomorrow?)
1/5: 95 minutes cycling and 601 calories burned (sick child prevented my gym outing)
1/6: 92 minutes cycling and 550 calories burned (I guess I could have pedaled faster :bcb_bigsm )
1/7: 90 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned
Total to Date: 592 minutes of exercise performed, 1408 minutes to go & 6 days of exercise performed, 19 days to go
1/8: 95 minutes of cycling and 600 calories burned (gym tomorrow!)
1/9: 117 minutes at the gym and 821 calories burned (thank goodness I don't go to the gym every day)
1/10: 95 minutes of cycling and 600 calories burned
1/11:118 minutes at the gym and 830 calories burned (no more gym till Monday!)
1/12: 92 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned
1/13: 66 minutes cycling and 400 calories burned
1/14: too tired.... work is wearing me down. Maybe tomorrow :salut
Total to Date: 1125 minutes of exercise performed, 825 minutes to go & 12 days of exercise performed, 13 days to go
1/15: no time to fit exercise in......two days in a row.... OY!
1/16: 96 minutes cycling and 606 calories burned
1/17: 95 minutes cycling and 601 calories burned
1/18: 90 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned
1/19: 93 minutes cycling and 605 calories burned -- OH! and ALOT of walking at the mall :bcb_grin

1/21: 90 minutes cycling and 636 calories burned
Total to Date: 1639 minutes of exercise performed, 361 minutes to go & 17 days of exercise performed, 8 days to go
1/22: 107 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned (I wasn't the fastest thing on two wheels tonight!)
1/23: 128 minutes at the gym and 822 calories burned (someone needs to drag me out of there before 2 hours is up!)
1/24: 105 minutes cycling and 620 calories burned
1/25: 108 minutes at the gym and 826 calories burned (yahooo, 20 minutes less than my last visit to the gym)
1/26: 107 minutes cycling and 600 calories burned (slow, that's me today....slow)
1/27: 90 minutes ice skating and no idea how many calories burned (I haven't been on ice skates in EONS!)
1/28: 30 minutes weight training and no idea how many calories burned
Total to Date: 2314 minutes of exercise performed, 314 minutes OVER goal & 24 days of exercise performed, 1 day to go
1/29: 45 minutes cycling (spinning) and 45 mins elliptical, no idea how many calories burned
1/30: 133 minutes at the gym and 836 calories burned (don't ask, I know I'm nuts)
1/31: 30 minutes weight training and no idea how many calories burned
TOTAL FOR MONTH: 2567 minutes and 27 days of exercise :bcbkickbu and 15,000+ calories burned *gulp*

I usually keep track of days/minutes, but this month I'm just going to go for a total of 1,500 minutes.

1/4: okay I'm done slacking. 65 minutes cardio
1/5: 35 minues Boxing
1/6: none
1/7: 60 minutes cardio
1/8: 60 minutes cardio & 10 minutes Boxing
1/9: 60 minutes cardio
1/10: 35 minutes weight train
1/11: 60 minutes cardio
1/12: none
1/13: none
1/14: 65 minutes cardio
1/15: none
1/16: 60 minutes cardio
1/17: 70 minutes cardio
1/18: sick
1/19: sick

1/21: 30 minutes shoveling snow, 60 minutes cardio, & 25 minutes weight train
1/22: 55 minutes cardio
1/23: 20 minute jog w/ dog & 60 minutes tae bo
1/24: 30 minute jog w/ dog & 65 minutes cardio
1/25: 50 minutes tae bo & 60 minutes cardio
1/26: 30 minute jog w/ dog, 20 minutes weight train, & 30 minutes elyptical
1/27: 30 minute jog w/ dog
