Happy late morning to everyone!

Okay I'm happy about a couple of things, first WI, I had a stand still (which I think is pretty good concidering it was Christmas week & I'm on meds) & I got my last gift from dh in the post! The Bootcamp elite came in yesterday & I started looking at it, gotta tell I LOVE IT! This morning I did the begining workout, the 8 min supercharge cardio & the 8min rock solid abs. I figured after the basic one I would boost my workout since I'm already doing the taebo advanced workout. Oh & the ab workout is really a workout!

Sorry I couldn't comeback last night, Alex had sleep issues & was letting all of us know it.

LD~Hope the little one (the four legged one) took his annual good, Charlie (our cat) hates going to the vet, they never do anything to him (since he's so old, lives 100% inside & alone he doesn't need shots) but he still hates them.
Oh I so wish I had something Pats under the tree, but nope. Dh knows I've been eyeing the ladies fitted #12 jersey but I wanna wait until I've hit goal & that's my little gift for me:bcb_happy
As for Tom being single, that is a nice gift for me, sad I'm here...oh yeah & I'm married huh?

Melody~Sorry on two counts, for SIL & the gifts from he// & then for dh. What kind of comment is that??? He must be pretty brave, had Thomas said that he would be a dead man that's for sure! I also think it's great that your sending the stuff to work with dh, just to make sure it doesn't get forgotten have you thought about putting it in the trunk to dh's car? Also regift the cookie mix! I like to give them out but only to people I know that want them, not to the ones I know want to lose weight, that's just down right RUDE!

Susie~Love the picks! Don't worry about looking "fluffy" ALL winter coats do that! Last year it took me about 3 hours of trying on coats to find the warmest & least bulky one.

Shilily~Sorry I forgot to mention I got my gift! It came in on the 23rd & I LOVE IT! I've always wanted to learn how to tat! I had to explaine to dh that there is a difference between tating & crocheting (what his oma does), he's such a man! Oh & it is hanging on the tree as I type.
We don't have 'regular' gettogethers so to speak. Since I was going to the states on vacation last year & hitting Vegas Laura & I thought we would hook up, then Mel & Nancey got on the bandwagon (they live in Cali.) In the end it turned into a nice day of shopping, lunch, gossiping & just having fun. Trust me I can't wait to move either!!!!

Michelle~Sorry about the dentist ap, I can't believe that's the 3rd time they've rescheduled it, talk about a PITA! Hopefully today will go smoothly & you don't have to worry about it anymore!

Debbie~Come on, how are you doing. I'm really sorry my gift is late, like I told you it wasn't on purpose really it wasn't! I hope you like it & let me know as soon as you get it.:buddysmoo

PHEW! I thought my post was going to dissapear, thank goodness it posted instead!

Okay well I hope that everyone has a great OP day & remember if anyone is out there struggling let us know, we can't be here for you when your not here!

Now I have to get ready to go we're invited to a friends for coffee & then dinner later so we want to hit the stores now. Everything closes tomorrow night & isn't opened again until the 2nd so need to stock up a bit.

Oh, I forgot, we have a new program! Okay it's not Core (as I wished) but I do get 2 more points to eat! Then again it's like minimum wage, when that goes up the price of everything does:bcb_wink3 So I need to read everything I got yesterday...& they say homework is over when your out of school!

WTG Jennifer on all your walking. I know that getting to work is hard but I try to tell my kids sometimes just showing up is more than half the battle. I finished last in a 5k in October and got the bronze metal in my age/sex division because I was one of only 3 women who did.

Vicki- I am glad that you liked the tatting. I wish I could do it myself. Actually I am going tp ask the Lady who sold it to me to teach me. I just haven"t yet

Well- baby just woke up- SO early 5:20! I'd better try to get him back to sleep...

Good morning ladies!! The vets went o.k. yesterday....283 dollars later....the dog was resting happily at home. I cant believe it was that much for a healthy visit...he needed bloodwork and his tyroid meds. Can you imagine if he was seriously sick? I'm just glad he's healthy for a 12 yr old siberian husky. Well ladies, i'm off to shower and spend the day with DH. Have a good one!!

Good Morning Ladies...

It is a beautiful sunny and cold morning here and i might enjoy it if i didn't have this darn headache. I've had it since yesterday and it is soooooo annoying.

Everyone is home with me today because DH had planned the day off (he is making himself a 5 day weekend around the holiday) and MIL is here because she took off to go to the funeral. So my regular routine is messed up anyway. Although, maybe i'll get some of the Christmas stuff put away today. I need to take the boxes back out of the garage and get organized.

Oh, and this morning the SIL's are supposed to be coming over to spend the day with MIL. I hope they go somewhere. And yes, the nuts are already in the trunk of the car. I spoke to the other SIL and she is going to take the nuts.... she has 3 kids at home and constant friends and relatives come over. That is the SIL who lost her Aunt and she had been doing WW until family issues kept her too busy. She is planning on restarting in January and i'm cheering her on. It is nice when someone else in the family is doing WW when there are family events.

ShiLily.... Thanks for the motivational sayings... i love the one about not getting run over... that is me for sure!! And i am with ya on staying out of the kitchen at night. I can do well all day long and then after dinner i lose control. What i did was have my last snack, usually an apple or a WW fudge bar (1pt) and then brush my teeth and put in my nightguard. Then i can't eat anymore, i can only drink water.

Vicki... Thanks for the regift suggestion... I'm going to put it with the stuff that we donate for door prizes at a dinner we got to in February. I'm sure someone will just love it!! As for the "just RUDE" issue... she is like that with everyone and no changing her. She is just plain self centered.... sigh. Glad to hear that you maintained this week... at Christmas that is a major victory!!

Jennifer... Good job on getting your walk in this morning. I'm sure that starting meetings next week will be a really positive experience and you will love it.

LD... Glad to hear that your doggie is happy and healthy. Good thing it is an annual checkup... i'd hate to see what they cost more often. I have a cat that is getting older and has been to a few vet visits and it always amazes me how much it is. Have fun on your day off today!!

OK... i'm off to get dressed and start repacking the Christmas stuff. Also going to try and get rid of this darn headache.... bbl to check in... Hope everyone has a great OP day!

Good afternoon ladies! Sorry it has been so long since I last posted, but things are still crazy here. But, they should be calming down somewhat after the New Year. I am doing well on maintaining my weight; although, I want to lose about 10 more pounds. I plan on getting back in the losing mode after the New Year.

I have been training for WW and will be working three meetings each week. I probably picked the worst time to start, but hopefully I will be able to muddle through the busy time without too many mistakes.

I hope all is going well for everyone. I'll try to get back in on a more regular basis after the New Year, but for now I must go to finish up my work. Wishing everyone a Happy and Blessed New Year.

Angel

Hey ladies,

I have been wanting to stop in here but have been having internet issues at home. I'm still on vacation but go back to work Tuesday. :bcb_down Oh well....in a way thats a good thing I have an easier time staying OP at work than at home.

My sister had her surgery on Wednesday. Everything was fine and the crazy thing is...the mass they were feeling was an extra rib! She was born with it (duh) and after 29 years it just got loose from the muscle and that was what was causing the pain.

I promise I will catch up on personals later but gotta get the little one in the tub so we can run off and get some things done.

Lo0ve ya all!!!

I'm here, i'm here....

I was terrified of the food after the funeral so we came home and i had veggies and a couple of slices of cheese and roast beef. Then when we got back to the families house and i saw all that food i only had a taste of a couple of things and kept pushing it around the plate. Alot better then it would have been if i went there hungry.

Tomorrow i'm going to WI in the morning and it is not going to be pretty. So, any skinny vibes available will be greatly appreciated.

Have to run cause a nephew is staying over here so he can play games with his brother at home and guess who has the best computer here?? See ya all tomorrow!!
