Hi there everyone,
I am very new here. I use to be on weight watchers. But for some reason i stopped. I am 37 and starting a new journey in my life. I want to lose weight for my health and I am also going back to school in Febuary. But i need to put myself first this new year comming up. I have been reading around this site alot and i feel i will get good support and make some good friends here. I have alot to lose. 215 pounds to be exact. Yah i know that is alot. Its a bit overwhelming for me. But i know I really need to do it. I just lost my mom this year to diabeties(amoung other health issues) and i would not like to end up like her. Not her health issues anyway. She was diagnoised at 42.. Well i am not far off of that age. Anyhow, I will be doing WW at home. I have all the books and material from when i was there. Plus tonight I have been reading and reserarching all about it again. So I cant wait to get started. Hope to get to know you all. Bye for now

Hi Bailey,

Wow reading your bio you sound like me.... my mom died this past spring and that is what made me start my "healthy journey" ~ first three months I did not do anything but smoke and cry. On Aug. 4th I quit smoking and slowly started to exercise. In September I decided I needed to lose 30 pounds. I also am back in school and I finish next Dec. so... buddy we have much in common. :bcb_bigsm
Welcome to BCB ~ and you CAN do this... be healthy! :bcb_up
I had high cholesteral and that was about it, but cancer runs high in my family and I knew I wanted to give my body a fighting chance. I feel great and you will too!!

thanks so much for the welcome,
Yes i did nothing since my mom passed on.. I have had a hard time keeping a job, crying all the time. but then i got off my butt and decided to change all that. I enrolled in college and now this weight loss that i am about to embark on. I know 2007 is gonna be my year.. I was looking at your weight loss. WOW,... that is awsome.. Congrats to you.
