Hi there Fems!
Thought I would start a new intro page! Here's a little about me.

I am 29yrs old and sell Real Estate full time. I have been married for 2 years. In June we welcomed our first child, Delaney. She is the best! We are very excited to be parents!
In my "spare" time I like to scrapbook, shop, go out with friends, and spend time with my family.

As far as my weight goes, I have always struggled with it. When I was 17 I weighed 204. I slimmed down to about 180 and then joined WW to shed another 20 before I got married. I went OP, changed jobs, and got a little lazy and gained the 20 back. THEN I had a baby and put on 55 with her. I have lost 43 lbs of that so far, but my goal is to get back to where I was comfortable, 160!

Here is a pic of my progress so far. Ignore the terrible hair and no makeup! :bcb_huh:
This is a pair of pants I was wearing right after I had her. This is one of my favorite pics, and she thought it was hilarious!

Laura..thanks for starting a new page!

I am Marcie..a 31 year old mother of DD who is 3 1/2...and husband who works all the time! I have been on WW 3 times...was not successful the first time, last year was the second time and I lost 21 lbs. I then switched jobs and things became crazy..we moved and are living with DH's parents..somehow I managed to gain back the 21 lbs plus 13 more...I re-joined WW again in October and have lost and gained the same 3 lbs for months. I know that WW works and I will not give up...I am hoping that once things get a little easier for us (i.e. sell our house, get our own house, and a new job for me) that I will get this weight off for good. I have struggled like many all of my life with my weight...I am at an all time high now and after seeing pics at Christmas...this weight is not here to stay!

I have been a member of the Fems since Aug. 05...a lot of people have come and gone in that time period...but this group is always great!!!

My name is Michelle but here I am known as "Jinner" or "Misha". No one calls me Michelle here. I turned 36 yo and am a mother to a 3 yo ds. In my former life I was a physical therapist, but currently I am a sahm. Motherhood is by far the best job I have ever had and I love every minute of it. (Okay, not every minute but most of it.:bcb_grin )

I love crafts...before ds, I did jewelry making, stamping, stenciling, crochet etc... Once ds came along, my things went into the garage so they wouldn't find their way into his mouth! One day I will get back to it.

My current hobby is my blog (http://mishas-test.blogspot.com/). One day I would love to write novels of the romantic and sex filled variety, but first I need to get off my butt and get writing. So in the meanwhile I fulfill my love of writing by visiting the BCB boards and reading, primarily romances, voraciously!

Along with WW, I have given up smoking cigarettes (as of June 12, 2006). I also post with the BCB Kicking Butts gals. This is my first time on WW and I just love my new lifestyle. I also love the BCB and all the great friends I have made. AND I loooooove the new me!

I enjoy finding just the right article for my BCB friends. I am the Queen of Articles, the Cliff Clavin here. The support and fun has just been incredible. I am always up for Rah Rah Rahs! For some strange reason I have earned the title of Booty Kicker too! I just hope I have been instrumental in helping others.

I am in the maintenance portion of my weightloss journey. So far I've been doing good. I do watch the scale daily and try to keep up with my exercise and watch my eating habits.

Dh and I have been married for 7 years now, together for 12 years. We also have a 4 yo chihuahua. I happen to love dogs and most other animals. He could take them or leave them. He feels the same about people.LOL:D

My Stats
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 98 lbs.
Mood: generally happy
Attitude: Fabulous

Hi,

I am Marianne and have been a Fem since June 2006. This is my third time on WW. My first goal is to get to 180 and lose the rest of the baby fat that is now 5 yeas old!! Then I will work on getting back to the weight I was at when I was 23 and met my DH!!

I just joined a health club and have begun exercising 6 days a week including strength training. I also work in Boston and love to walk through the Common and Garden at lunch with a friend.

I have been married to my DH for 10 years and we have a 4 1/2 yo DD. I work full time in a technology department for a financial services company.

I love to scrapbook, stamp and garden. I also love to decorate my house and to shop! I live near the beach and also love to hang out there when the weather is nice.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone better!

Marianne

Hello Everyone!

I am married and have 4 wonderful children (dd~15, ds~11, ds~3 and dd~2). This is my 3rd time with WW and I'm hoping that the "3rd time is a charm" works for me! (so far so good) I have battled my weight since I had my oldest daughter...losing those same 30+ pounds for what feels like a hundred times. I really had a hard time after having ds3...I gained 65 lbs+ with my pregnancy (I started to turn around at the scale for my last few visits so I don't actually know WHAT I weighed at the end! lol) and I've had a really hard time with my weight ever since.

After my 2 yo was born, I started ww but quit after just a few months and losing 10 lbs. Then I started doing the firm workouts. I lost about 23 lbs and worked out for the whole year of 2005. I quit doing the workouts for some unknown reason to me now (laziness, I guess) and gained all 23 lbs back in just 6 months. Ughh! So here I am losing that same 30 lbs again for the LAST TIME!!! I am not EVER going to quit ww and I would like to start some type of workout program starting the first of the year...I just can't decide what to do...I just know that I need to start to move!

When I do get any spare time, I like to scrapbook and garden. I also enjoy collecting boyds bears. I currently work 2 days a week as a medical biller. I say currently because I am losing my job after the first of the year due to the service losing an insurance subscriber. Then I will go back to being a SAHM again which is just fine with me! :bcb_bigsm

Hello Everyone,
I am Soya, and I have been posting in the Maintenance thread, but this thread looks so great too! I think I would like to get to know all of you as well.

I am an artist, a teacher and a vegetarian. I am 34, married since the summer (but I have been with DH for six years now). I do not have kids, but I am the favorite auntie of many nieces and nephews. I live in Central Coastal California, by the sea.

I started WW about 3 years ago, promptly dropped from 156 to 136, and then over a year or so lost about ten more lbs. Recently, I have regained the ten lbs to leave me at about 135 again.:bcb_mad2 My challenges are emotional eating, celebratory eating, and poor logical choices based on the idea that "this food is special and I won't get it again".

I use exercise as a major part of my weight loss and maintenance strategy. I reallly mix it up a lot, as I tend to get bored if I do the same thing over and over. I principally walk/hike/run in the hills around my city, and do step aerobics. I also love to do Latin partner dancing with DH, bike to work, and swim in the summer. Sometimes, if I have little motivation or planning, I do the exercise machines at my gym. (Not my fav.)

I love the support that I get from these boards! It is something that really keeps me on track. I like to talk about the challenges, emotional patterns, exercise and food plans and make and join challenges for weight loss.

I hope to get to know you all better, soon!
