It is a gray dreary day here.
Trying to find motivation to get stuff done today. Don't have it at all yet.

I need to get the stuff for Mondays Dinner and try and finish up a few things. I just do NOT have any energy. And for me that is really really weird.


I did sit in front of the computer last night and mess with stuff from Mo, Hopefully I can get that project at least started.
I had so many idea of what I wanted to do for all of you, but that plan fell flat. so, if you get something after Christmas, just smile okay?


Mo, Where is you son going for Basic Training? What job did he pick to train for?

Nina, morning sweetie, you want to do my errands too? I will give you a list. chuckle.

Good morning everyone. Had a bad start to the day in that I woke up late and did not get to eat breakfast at home and had no lunch to take. however, did grab some healthy snacks for the day and when I got to the office I saw someone sent an edible fruit arrangement - YAY!! However, I still have a plan.

breakfast - got mcd's egg mcmuffin without the meat 6 pt
plan -
snacks - apple slices with lite lc cheese 2 pt, ff tapioca pudding 1 pt
"lunch" - fruit!!! and popcorn 3 pt
after out of office (around 3 pm) - sushi 4 pt
dinner - chicken with broccoli coleslaw 4 pt

We also got a new poland spring delivery so no excuses with the water today!!

Lara - hope you and your family got home ok. I saw the weather on the news. Yikes, stay warm and safe!

Mo - yo no hablo espanol. that is pretty much what I remember from high school. I did learn some more spanish in NYC but nothing I can print!

Nina - try to pace yourself!! have a great day.

Nina, errands galore! It is this time of year, right?

I have a doctor's apt this afternoon. So we will go in, do a mall walk and browse before hand, then do all my grocery shopping afterwards. Long day ahead. The doctor apt - about 6 or 7 years ago I was in the hospital a week with an inflamed pancreas. From the way I am hurting, I think it is trying to come back. That was not a good thing, so will get it addressed before it gets that bad.

I will be back when I get home.

Nancy, I know a little Spanish. My mom's nationality is Spanish. She was born in Santander. I understand more than I speak.

Mo, Are you still relaxing? One more day for you and then winter break!! Yeah!! Not to bring up a sore subject, but is your son going right on a ship? If so which one? My dad was on the USS Biddle, it is no longer in service now. They retired the ship. Hang in there little buddy!

well i had a good day yesterday. we watched a whole bunch of movies and it felt great not to do anything!

i've already been tanning this morning so now i'm at home getting some laundry done and work on my knitting. i haven't touched the blanket in a while.

Good morning Esther! Yes, I am feeling better-even without drugs to make me feel that way. The drugs were putting me in a dizzy fog. I am almost weaned off of the current one-I go back to the doctor on the 28th, and I'll tell her the news. Good luck about the pancreatitis. Nasty. Hope you are well and feel better soon.

Jo, howdy woman. Sorry you aren't feeling great yet. Having no energy at this time of the year just stinks. I have so much to do to really be ready for the holiday, but I know it all won't get done-I'll have to pick my battles.

Alissa, at least you have a plan to follow. We all need back up plans when we are either out of food or too lazy to make what we have! (I am guilty too often)

Lynn, sorry you are on ambulance side today. I might be able to slack a bit today, and wish I had you lurking!!

Nancy, Santander is in the northern part of Spain. Never been, but would like to one day. All my relatives on my mom's side live there and I've never met any of them. Have fun with the loan lady. I'm glad getting off the meds is helping you feel less foggy

Augh! I went out to get some fruit and the whole thing had been taken out of the fridge and was gone! I guess it was meant as a gift for someone and they took it away! i thought about crying but i will hang in there. i am eating the apples and laughing cow that I brought.

Thanks Nina - I am doing ok. I shouldn't depend upon others to have healthy snacks - that will pretty much always backfire - especially this time of year! I do not officially work between x-mas and new years so other than writing a few reports I plan to do a lot of grocery shopping and cooking and freezing so I can just grab a healthy lunch on my way out the door.

Alissa, at least you have something to eat. I am sitting here, hungry with nothing to eat except for the gift I brought in for the guy in the office!! So sad, but do you think he would mind if I opened his string cheese and ate one?? I don't know him well, but really like him, and string cheese is something I know he likes and has here in the office all the time, so he got cheese and his wife, (whom I have never had the pleasure of meeting yet) is receiving Lindt truffles!


Nina, that would be so cool to go to Spain. I need a vacation so dang bad. I won't be having one till June, but then I have another one in July/August, so with 2 vacations already planned, I can't complain. It gives me time to lose this dang fat so I can wear beach clothes with happiness and comfort.

Lara, oh where, or where for art thou, you little snow bunny you!

My loan lady came in to book her loan, so that makes 4 for the month so far. I would love to get to 5 this month. It would be a record, and I could do it, if this guy would just get his butt in here to sign a paper!

Good Morning Ladies! The storm that we got yesterday was a doosey, 3ft of snow anywhere that didn't get shoveled or plowed.. fun stuff. Anyway, we didn't have to be into the office until 10am today and I layed in bed until I had to get up wiht just enough time to not be late. The drive home was pretty scarry, all those non drivers on the road. News Flash: 4 wheel drive slides as easy as 2! Anyway, we sat around and played games last night, tought jesse how to play spades, she's a natural! She was taking books left and right, it was pretty fun. I used up 7 flex points and my plan was to save them all for Christmas eve/day... so I'm hanging on to them for dear life!

Ya'll have been busy, so I'm going to catch up and then I'll be back.

Nina, I thought the cow was hilarious! Just the type mood I am in today. I will be vacationing at NC beaches next summer. Two family vacations-one with dh's family to honor his parent's 50th wedding anniversary in Feb., and one with my family because my mom wants to vacation with us before she is too old to enjoy it. I can't wait. I would love to get together with my MD buddies. In 2007, we will plan a day together!

I just went to the mall for lunch, and bought dh a foot massager. It is heavenly, and I think it will be mine instead, so that I can open it tonight. LOL.


Jules, not fair to be busy at this busy time of the year. All I am doing this afternoon, is taking payments and biding my time! Then, 4 days off! Yippee!

Today was the BJ's run............it's a wholesale bulk place for those who don't know. You know if you aint got no energy that is NOT the place to be hauling big containers of soap and stuff in your cart. but it is done and put away.

Nina I am okay, don't worry, I will be fine. Actually today at least my body isn't screaming in agony....just maybe whimpering occasionally.

Depressing, No loss this week.........195.2. I think I said a bad word when I got on the scale, my truckdriver deceased Grandfather would have been proud of that word. Chuckle. Oh well, Maybe next week.


Tomorrow is a nothing day.....Maybe do a few sewing projects.

My meals have been OP actually well below points, No appitite, but I will be back in the swing of things by tomorrow.

dinner, small turkey sub, with lettuce tomatoes and Avacodo. FF chips.
