Good morning Jules! You seem chipper this morning! Happy Saturday to you!
I will be on the road in a little bit. I have an appointment with my personal stylist for a color and cut-oh, excuse me, a full dimesional and a trim. I will get the works-new highlights and freshened up color, then a taming of my fro. I have so much dang hair. Then, my dd and I will be going out to dinner with old friends, and just spending time together. Sunday is her modeling call, and Monday is my ds' orthopedic surgeon's appointment. He is also going to go to my old employer doctor-I can draw his blood there and we are going to get his diabetes in excellent control again. He has quit chewing tobacco as promised to me, and he is trying to lose his lineman's gutt. I'm proud of him-he is really trying to watch. If he isn't playing football, he can't carry all that weight.
Well buddies, sorry that I haven't even read yesterday's posts, so I'm sorry-I'll try to catch up this weekend in a quiet time at my dd's house.
OH! Good news, my oldest dd got the word yesterday. She is going to be doing her nursing practicum at NIH in oncology research. She is VERY excited. She just found out last night, and this is the first time NIH has asked for a nursing student, so she hopes to put her first foot forward. I am so happy for her.
Ladies, and any men out there, have a great OP weekend, and I'll pop in from time to time.

I woke up at 5:00 am with a headache, earache in both ears, and sorethroat. This means I have my annual sinus infection that shows up every year just in time for Christmas. My head feels like it weighs 100 pounds. This is when WW is so hard for me because I love OJ and apple juice and this orange tea that I mix up. I need to find some juices that don't have very many points.
Here is an update on our exercise building. The guys have been working hard on it and it will be done after Christmas. The other wives and I are going to do some cleaning today. We ordered an elliptcal and it is sitting in my garage right now. I can't wait to be using it. I tried it at the store and it really kicked my butt. We spent alot of money and got a really nice one that you would find in a big gym.
My plan for the weekend is to get Christmas Letter done, wrap presents, and do some baking plus all the usual weekend stuff.

Jules, so sorry you are sick. Not good timing. I usually get sick around the holidays because I push myself to the limit and don't get proper rest. GEt plenty of rest, (yeah, right :bcb_huh: ) and take good care of yourself. A hint about the juices. I dilute juice with water by half sometimes, and they taste pretty good. I am so used to doing this, if I drink juice full strength, it tastes soooo sweet that I can't drink it. There is also some "light" juices out there, so look around and see what you can find. How exciting about your work out place! I'm sure that you and your friends will enjoy your new "church"! Have fun, but do not overdo.

Curves is going well, except for the fact that I am still not feeling great. I am lightheaded a lot, and that does not mix well with exercising. I have literally had to force myself out of the house to go-I want to go, but I feel like crud. I am so tired of waiting for my body to catch up to where my mind is at. I'm hanging in there, and will conquer!! I like Curves for so many reasons though. I'll probably get bored after a while-a year or so, but who knows? Time will tell.
Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Girlies...
Well Nancy, I beat you to the freshened up colour and highlights, I had mine done last night, and I'm really satisfied with my new hairdresser. She's young, but she really knows what she's doing. I'm sorry now DH didn't take a pic of me last night for the colour and the fancy shmancy up-do that she gave me. He really liked it, and apparently did a bunch of other men...lol!!
Jules, I'm so sorry your not feeling well, you need to get your bum to the DR, STAT! I for one cannot be on plan and be sick, it's just impossible for me. Not that kind of sick anyhow. If I simply have a cold that's fine but an infection like that tends to make me sick to my stomach and my appetite isn't there for the most part. And like you, I CRAVE OJ...when i was sick I must have drank a gallon of it a week. I think you should allow yourself at least that much! Get well soon girlie!
Nancy ~ Congrats to your daughter, isn't that a wonderful thing to break into as a nursing student. You must be so proud of her. Have a wonderful day with your other DD having your hair done!
Well girls, I think I realized last night that the CJ is just not going to work for me. I did well all day, and by the time I had my hair done, picked Alex up from cadets, came home, changed and did my make up, dropped Alex off at my brothers and made my way to the bowling alley where Wayne was waiting for me with his staff for their Christmas party, I WAS STARVED!!! I only had two points remaing for the day and 3 hours of bowling ahead of me. This body cannot do physical activity and be sustained on 20 pts. I thought I would give it my all, but I guess it's just not going to work for me. I will go back to eating my normal allotment of 24 or 26 pts depending on my activity level!!
Today is the day I'm having Wayne's sister and her husband over for dinner and I have a plan according to my 20 pt day, but I may have to ammend it to bring it to the 24 or 26 pts, depending on my activity today!
I hope everyone had a safe Saturday, the rush is on to be done things by Christmas time, so do it safely. And hopefully you can do it the OP way!!!

Morning Buddies, :bcb_bigsm
Jules, Sorry to hear about your headache, I know how those go. I hope your feeling better soon. I usually get sick around this time too. I think it's a mixture of everything. I'm caught up on everything so maybe that's a good sign that I won't get sick (knock on wood) I hope you have a productive weekend!
Nancy, That's great news for your DD's. You must be very proud of them all. Have fun getting pampered today you deserve it. Enjoy your dinner tonight. My DH and I are going out to dinner with a friend my DH works with and his wife and tomorrow I will be getting the rest of the cookies baked for the holidays. (thanks everyone for great ideas)
Lynn, Hello! Have a great morning! I hope you enjoy your dinner tonight and I hope you can stay OP. Have a great weekend!

Dinner is done and stayed pretty much on plan, add my 4 extra regular points today. Going to walk tomorrow some time, it's extremely mild here about 36F or so and supposed to remain for a couple more days!
Jo, I just read yesterdays post about your cat, I'm so sorry, but you did make the right choice, he's in a better place. We were just talking about my dog that we put down in June, my bil misses him. He used to, even in his deafness and blindness, greet you at the door, and Mac was Randy's dog when Randy was here. I miss him too, and some days think I want another dog, but not just yet, maybe a little later in our life. ****{HUGS}}} girlie!
