Hey All!

So...I'm still unsure about this 26 point thing for me...it seems like a lot more (event though I know it isn't).

Mena - do you just go to a meeting and say, Hey...I am a ww at home and I want new material or do they send it to you or do you have to pay for it? Just curious. Do you use etools? I like eTools.

I had a dream I was pregnant last night (did I tell you guys I have baby fever??). Yeah, I have officially said to my husband that I want a baby. BUT (and tell me if this is so selfish) I want to wait until I get to goal and stay there a couple of months first...he has no problem with me waiting because I don't think he is too keen on the idea anyway (mostly scared of the unknown I think)...what are my ODaaT buddies opinions?

Off to work - talk to you all later!

I'm a bad person to give advice from the Male perspective because (a) I don't have to carry one and (b) I would have a dozen kids if I could. I'm a firm believe in there is no right time for kids. When it happens, it happens. You can TRY to prepare all day... but you just kind of have to roll with it.

Good luck with it. If nothing else, it's fun to practice.

I planned my second baby. The first one was a surprise. I had 2 goals before I had another child. (1) To finish nursing school and work for a year and (2) have the first one out of day care. I knew I couldn't afford 2 in daycare and I did not want to a stay at home mom.

I WI today. I lost 1.2 lbs. I thought that we were going to go over the new program, but they said next week. Its hard hearing about gaining points and losing points and I have no idea what I am going to have to do. Now I have 2 things to wait for next week (1) to find out if I got accepted to the internship and (2) the new program.

I hope everone has a great day.

good afternoon...I was busy doing errands all day but I think I have this Christmas thing almost wrapped up!

Nicque- I too like Lisa planned the second child and the first was a HUGE surprise. We couldn't have been more unprepared, HA! However, I do really understand the want to get to goal first. Also, no one can forsee how much they may gain during pregnancy so it may give you more confidence to know that your goal weight is proven obtainable. But I have to say, I LOVE being a parent and having a family and wouldn't change it for a thing (even on the days that they are ridiculously difficult!)

Lisa- Congrats on the loss! :bcb_grin I wish you luck with the internship and new program! I hope it all works out!

I do WW from home using WW Online and I haven't received any info about a new points tally. What is up?

have a great afternoon

Thanks guys!

Lisa - what kind of internship is it? I have been meaning to ask you that. And CONGRATS ON THE WEIGH IN!! :bcb_bravo

Jule - Do you use eTools? If you do you need to go to modify your profile and it says, "Personal points quiz" or something like that. Let me know if you can't find it.

Here is the "Personal Points" Quiz (add them up as you go along):

1. Are you:
Female................2
Male...................8
Nursing Mom........12

2. How old are you?
17-26.................4
27-37.................3
38-47.................2
48-58.................1
over 58...............0

3. What do you weigh?
Use the first two digits of your weight in pounds.
For example, if you weigh 175, use 17. If you weigh less than 100 pounds,
use the first digit of your weight in pounds, like 9 for 98 pounds.

4. How tall are you?
Under 5'1"..........0
5'1" to 5'10".......1
Over 5'10"..........2

5. Do you spend most of your day (not including exercise):
Sitting down (as a receptionist, bus driver, cab driver)......0
Occasionally sitting but mainly standing (sales person, housewife)...2
Walking most of the time (waiter, mailman).....................4
Doing physically hard work most of time (nurse, gardener).6

Total your daily points target and that is your new daily points. If your total points is less than 18, your daily points target is 18. If your total is more than 44, your daily points is 44.

Just to give you an example, mine is as follows:

Female - 2
26 yo - 4
177 # - 17
5'4" - 1
Standing - 2

For a total of 26 points which is 2 more points than the old system.:bcb_grin

By that new system, my points would be 41. That's seems like too many.
