I found this site some time ago but finally got a chance to check it out today and register. I really like the forum. It's the best WW forum out there:salut

I rejoined WW for the umpteenth time in the last 13 years but this is the last time. :bcb_grin I hit 41 this year and my health is catching up with me. I want to live! I want to feel confidence that I never had due to my weight! After 39 years of dreaming, I finally bought my first horse and they don't tell you when you start riding you really need to be in shape! So my health and my horse are my motivation as well as all those great "non-big girl" stores in the mall! LOL

I have been on WW for 8 weeks now and have lost 10.4lbs. I can't wait for my Friday meeting to see all the changes with the program. I am psyched!

I don't ever remember wanting something so bad. When I rejoined, I didn't even tell my husband. I had rejoined so many times, I didn't need the flack from him or anyone saying "here we go again".

So here I am ready and willing to take this ride all the way! I will be thin. I will wear cool clothes, I will be a better rider and I will shop at Victoria's Secret one day. Maybe not wear the wings but some of that sinful sheer goodness!

Welcome to BCB.....and back to WW!

Yes, sometimes we just need the right motivation to spurn us in the right direction!

You know for years, I could have NEVER even thought of going to Victoria's Secrets and buying anything because being over 100 pounds too large, just didn't fit in VS size charts.......

Just the other day I was thinking, you know I'll soon be able to go and shop at VS! I can buy some of those sexy things and maybe I'll even try a pair of thong undies.....WOO HOO! I never thought I'd say that......

Happy losing!

Thanks Sue!

I don't think I have ever been so revved for weight loss. Seeing the results posted on each thread is great motivation too.

I am going to beat "results not typical" that's for sure!

Hi Melissah and :welcome: to BCB. Congratulations on you loss of 10.4 pounds. What a great start. This site has been such an encouragement to me and I know I wouldn't be where I am if it were not for all the encouragement and support I get here. Feel free to join us on the December Goals/OP challenge thread over on the Goals & Coutdowns Forum.

Welcome to BCB, Melissah! You've listed good reasons to lose weight. Write them down and re-read your list when/if your motivation gets low. Find a home board(s) here on BCB (either by age (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7), buddy system (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72), or buddy groups (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2)) and post often for buddy support. :bcbkickbu
