Hi,
I am new to this!! I have been on and off WW since 2000, and Jenny Craig before that (1996). I have never hit my goal weight and have always gotten frusterated and left WW. I knew better than to go back to JC. Thanks in advance for any support or info given!

You haven't given any info as to how much you want to lose or how long you stay OP prior to quitting......
Ask yourself why you want to lose the weight to begin with...Is your commitment strong enough to re-affirm why you want to reach goal weight....
You have come to the right place to recieve great support...
Happy losing!

Welcome to BCB, Alyssa. Not sure what you need help with? Let us know, and we'll help! Concentrate on losing 10%, not the entire amount. Make your goals small and attainable. Every pound truly counts to improve your health! Surf around, find a board(s) to call home, and post often for support.

I agree that you need to take baby steps. Try for a personal small goal, maybe even just to lose a pound or 5. Keep journaling and if you feel for any reason that you are slipping, come here. Don't run from it, take control!

Just out of curiousity, what is making you stay away from Jenny Craig?

I always told myself, that I wanted to see if I could lose 3 more lb. that translated into a 75lb loss in about 10 months (all but the last 10 in 8mo). smaller goals might even be more gratifying. Remember, 1lb fat is = to 4 sticks of butter. Never dis a .5 lb or a .25 lb weight loss as failure. It is NOT. Every little bit gets you closer to goal. If you mess up, get right back in there again. You'll have many more good days than bad and you'll see success.
don't forget to reward yourself with jewelry, shopping, 1 dollar for every lb, whatever works for you! My big thing was clothes. And the day I could fit into the jeans I hadn't worn since college was huge for me. (I couldn't even get my thigh into them at the begining.) What a feeling. It is almost indescribable. WW works! Keep your head in the game and just follow the program and and watch it happen!
