Old Buddies

I was just procrastinating a bit (it is finals times!) and reading some REALLY old posts, from when I first joined! I've been here over two years!

It reminded me of some old buddies, and made me proud of the buddies who are still here after 2 years!

So old buddies, if you are still out there lurking, a big :wave: I am thinking of Shannon (shannon35), Anna (Tessaroo), Mae (Maefries), Alison (Nosila), Ally (Honey123), Katie (kna774) and Kris (bookgirl)

And old buddies who are still here, thanks for all your inspiration! Props to Suzie, Lindsey, Danielle, Gillian who are all names I saw back as far as two years. That takes commitment :strong:

It's very inspiring to see buddies that have stuck with BCB for so long. So congrats to you all! I hope to celebrate another year at BCB next year!

Holy crap! It has been over two years!! I miss the oldies that arent here anymore!! Come back! lol

I have to second Lindsey, its the inspiring stories that everyone brings that keeps me here. I may not post a ton but I'm always around and enjoy the success stories. I guess it keeps me fresh in my journey.
I can't believe its been 2 years either but in October I got my 1-year follow-up questionaire from the weight control registry so that would make it 2 years at a healthy weight in December.

I was just lurking and found this thread! It's nice to know that I am still thought of!

I am getting ready to join the ranks again, but not until I give birth to my first baby! (a boy, due 1/28/07!) Let me tell you, it was really tough to be at Lifetime and then get pregnant...although it was pretty much planned! I asked DH so much at the beginning if he thought skinny women who had never had weight issues worried so much about pregnancy weight gain!

But, I've been eating smart and am still exercising, and plan on getting back on WW as soon as this little one is born! Plus, my SIL is getting married in May, and I need to look HOT....I already had to be in my brother's wedding in November, and let me tell you, maternity bridesmaid's dresses aren't all that flattering!

Just thought I would pop in and say hello, and I will check in as much as time allows once I am back and totally OP!

Hello to all my old buddies....it's so great to see a lot of old, and NEW faces around here!

I'm trying to remember, but I think you are a teacher, right? Are you taking maternity leave or how does that work??

I have been here for FOUR YEARS now!!! I originally joined in Nov/Dec 2002 under another name, but I went away for about 4 months, forgot the password, and just joined under my real name. BCB has become such a part of my life...I got to my goal with BCB (when I first joined) and have been here through my ups and downs. The is the first and only message board/online community that I have ever been on. I don't even chat or use IM. ha!

I also remember Paris Madeline, Tiger Campbell (who pops in from time to time but used to be very active), Tam (T-bone), MsMandee, and the ones previously mentioned. Hanna also used to post in the T20s, but now spends most her her time at the 100+ club.

I was looking through old posts yesterday too, COME BACK EVERYONE. I've been a BCB for over SIX YEARS (geez). And Shannon :wave: really great to see you.
