A whole bunch of us went out to an Italian restaurant, and EVERYONE was ordering all of my favorite food porn. I, instead, just ordered a salad. Now, I'm sure all of the dressing on the salad was a lot of points, but it's better than the pizza or pasta I was going to order, so I was proud of myself!

So, I have a GREAT NSV from this morning! I stepped out of the shower, wrapped my towel around me, and there was NO GAPING AREA at the bottom! The towel wrapped completely around me without having to hold it shut or anything! HOORAY! I haven't been able to do that in awhile!!! :jump_jack

Lucy-Way to go. Italian food is one of those things I have trouble with, so I'll think of you next time I'm out for Italian! If you can do it, I can!

I went out this weekend. And I felt like I looked great in what I wore both nights. My tummy is getting flatter and my thighs no longer have cottage cheese on them. And I measured myself last night. Since joining WW, I have lost 4 inches from my waist, 5 from my hips, and 4.5 from my thighs!

I had to re-adjust all my bras this weekend because the straps were loose.

Also, I have this one pair of dress pants I wear to work. Before, whenever I wore them the button would dig into my belly in a painful fashion and I had a hard time doing them up. (But they don't look tight when they're on, they're quite flattering on me, so despite my discomfort I wore them -- I have a hard time finding decent pants.) Now when I wear them, not only is the button not burrowing its way into my stomach, but they're a bit loose around the middle.

And finally, you know how much jeans suck to put on when you get them fresh out of a dryer? My "lie on the bed, suck in your gut and hope to god you can zip them up" jeans require none of the usual fuss and bother. I pull them on, zip them up, and away I go -- even fresh out of the dryer! Hooray!

I finally noticed my face is thinner and my double chin is almost gone. YEH!!!
My friends and family both emailed me and called me today saying. "Holy cow your face is thin". Got to love it.:)

I tried on my size 12 slacks on Sunday and they fit. A little snugger than I like to wear them, but not bad.

And my mother was waaay complimentary about how I'm doing when she saw me on Sunday, which was nice.

I just jogged 4 miles on the tready without stopping. Took me about 50 minutes! (slow pace of 4.2-4.6 mph), but it kept me going) ... this was also after I did 25 minutes on the elliptical!

My stretchy size 11 jeans that last week were a lil snug are now fitting perfectly...and that was after being washed, too!

I was going through my closet yesterday and trying on pants that had been too small that I got from a relative, and I was going to give them to my neighbor, and some of them fit. It was great. Now I have 9 new pairs of pants to wear. WHOO HOO

I went to Trader Joe's last night and among all of the yummy food, everything I bought was core (except almonds, which I will happily use my APs on because they are too good). This is amazing you guys. I have a really hard time resisting food like that... esp. at Trader Joe's where it's so cheap!

I was digging through a drawer this morning trying to find something when I stumbled across all of my jean shorts from when I was my smallest as an adult. I decided what the heck, I'll try on a pair to see how far I have to go. THEY ALL FIT!! I was SO excited. They are size 12's, and I remember I was ALMOST to the point of needing 10's when I started gaining again. This is nice for me since I have a tendency to see how far I have to go rather than how far I've come. Needless to say I am very happy!

Yesterday, I had to give a presentation for a class, and of course that meant dressing up. Well, I went to put on a pair of black dress pants and...they're TOO BIG! And by too big, I mean they were droopy and gave me diaper butt and I couldn't even wear them they looked so bad! :p And it was the same with ALL my dress pants! So, in the 19 degree weather yesterday, I had to wear a skirt, because I no longer own dress pants that fit.

I'm just wishing this would have happened last week when I still had 30% off everything at the Gap.

My friends and I went to try on dresses last night for our Christmas dance tonight, and everything I tried on either fit or was TOO BIG! I finally got a dress in a size 16 (I started out at around a 20)!

Everyone sounds like they are doing so well. I love to hear these stories. They keep me motivated.

So mine..Yesterday I wore jeans to work and a fitted top (usually uniform as a mgr requires black pants and white button-down shirt). I had 3 different people tell me how great I looked. One guy even told me my butt looked smaller :embarrass (he is one of my best *** friends, so I took no offense and was thrilled to hear it from him). I needed the NSVs yesterday, so hooray!

Here's my NSV, our office is having its holiday party today but we are also remodeling so I came to work in jeans but brought nice clothes. Anyway, I brought a brand new pair of pantyhose that I bought last night. I bought the wrong size (I wanted size B and got size A) and the size A fit!!

I went shopping at The Limited and the XLs I automatically grabbed were way too big - ended up getting a cute spaghetti strap top and sweater in L ($15, I love holiday coupons). I fit into a size 12 skirt, and aaaaaalmost a M t-shirt.

Then later tonight, I was at my parents' house, and another family we're friends with came over. The mom told me twice that I looked great and to keep it up. That was nice to hear from someone I'm not related to, finally. :buddysmoo

I just did great at the xmas party! I didn't get a chance to eat my pre dinner dinner, but at dinnner I stayed OP, only had 1 piece of appetizer (lobster roll - really low point) and even had points for a cosmo martini! woo hoo! And I used less points tonight than i had planned!

I'm ready to get wild tomorrow at the Gala. ;)

I had two this week -

On Thursday night, I saw a girl I went to high school with that I haven't seen since the week before I started WW. She went crazy! She kept saying how great I looked and telling everyone at the bar how great I looked. Needless to say, she was a bit drunk, but it still felt good.

Then, at breakfast this morning, I ordered an eggbeater omelette with spinach, green peppers, and tomatoes and then dry wheat toast (no butter). The waitress said "You always eat such healthy food. No wonder you look so young." It was nice to hear that she wasn't annoyed with my long order and actually praised me for it!

awesome NSVs everyone! i think this is my favorite thread! i haven't posted an nsv in a while but i had a great one this week...i had to go to a dental show on thursday night to look at all the 'new equipment' that's out and while there i saw three people (all at different times) that i went to school with and haven't seen since last summer. all three started our conversations with a hug then stood back and said something along the lines of 'oh my gosh, how much weight have you lost? you look great. what are you doing?' one of them even called me SKINNY!!! it was great, especially to have them all say something on their own. i was in ww heaven! :D

i actually have some this week:

1. at the gym, some chick asked me if i was a trainer and what my rates were, lol. i dunno, i figure i must look like i know what i'm doing or something for her to ask.

2. today, as part of my retail therapy session, i bought size 20 gap jeans!!! i feel pretty dang good about that. (i don't really have retail therapy sessions, although i should as they really brighten my mood).
