DH's uncle went to the hospital the other day for what everyone thought was a stroke. The Dr.'s said it was a very mild stroke and it was a good thing that uncle's daughter acted immediately as soon as she saw the signs or it could have been much worse. Uncle started getting better and a few days later he was showing no signs of the stroke. On the day he was supposed to be discharged (yesterday), the Dr. did a test by putting dye into his brain so they could see if there was any lasting damage. Well, the Dr. did not read uncle's chart and injected the dye he is allergic to! Right now he is paralyzed and barely responsive. We don't know if he will be able to recover from this or not. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
