I have mastercook 8.0 and I've had it for a bit, but never used it. I was playing with it earlier and I entered all of my ingredients, blah, blah. I went to the nutrition info to get them to calculate points and the fiber was 9 grams. Do you guys count 9 grams for the whole recipe or do you count the fiber for each ingredient? It drastically changes the points... Thanks in advance!

For a recipe I put all the nutritional info for each ingredient in Mastercook as it stands. Then I take the nutritional info per serving to calculate the points.

If the whole recipe has 9g of fiber and it served 4 then you would count 2.25g of fiber. If one serving has 9g of fiber you would just count 4 g of fiber for that serving since there is a 4 gram cap on fiber when figuring points for the Flex plan.

If you're doing an older plan it's different.

Maybe I'm not understanding your question.
