Hello Commandos!
If friday the 13th is bad, MONDAY the 13th must be worse, right?:p
Luckily, my working day ends in 3 hours!
I have my week planned out. Feels great.
Have a great day all!

Good Morning Hanna and Commandos to come
For me - all Monday's are bad. Unless they are Holidays - in which case Tuesday takes over the bad role.
My day is just getting started. I don't have my week all planned - but the next couple days are covered - lots of good OP food in the house.
This morning in the bathroom (I have lots of interesting thoughts in the bathroom for some reason) I was thinking about people who never get fat. What's different about me? If I didn't choose to start thinking about food and keeping track of what I'm eating - I would just keep gaining - there would be no stopping at a set point - I have no set point. It seems like it would be a natural thing for your body to hover about a certain weight - kind of like a carpenter's level - within a few pounds. Oh well - if I did have such a thing - I must have broke it a long time ago.
Anyway - have a great OP day guys!
:)
Good morning, Hanna and CarrieD.
It's a Monday is all I can say. I didn't get up this morning and exercise, but I'm going to exercise tonight when I get home. I actually walked yesterday for 1 hour. I haven't exercised on a Sunday in a long time. I felt really good that I did that. I was proud of myself.
I weighed in on Saturday and lost 1.2 lbs. I'm very excited. I just keep thinking that I'm getting closer to my goal, whatever it is. I haven't actually set a goal yet.
I think DH and I have some dinners planned out this week. We are pretty good about planning for the week.
I hope everyone in the Northeast is surviving. Stay warm!!

Hi!
I'm batteling negative thoughts, but being a true Commando I refuse to let them rule me. As soon as the family leaves this morning I'm going to prejournal my day. Then I'm going to come up with three positive thoughts and put them on pos-it-notes. One is going on my work computer, one on the bathroom mirror and the last one on the front of the refridgerator. I refuse to fail today.:strong:

Tawnya, care to share your negative thoughts? We might be able to help you deflate them...

Usually, I'm not too fond of Mondays, but so far so good. It probably helps that it's a short week for me and that I have an exciting project to work on today. I've got my meals and workout planned and I'm ready to face the day!

I'm off to WI in an hour. Wish me big luck! Not that I need luck, I just need the scale to start showing my actions.
Each week I feel like a big phoney. "Really, I was POP all week!!!" but with a gain....oh well, I am POP so nanny nanny boo boo!:p
Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning Commandos!
I'm usually not a big fan of Mondays but I took the day off work today, so I'm loving it :headover:
After sleeping in, I went to Curves, had a good OP breakfast, made my list of errands, which includes another workout later today (if its on my list I have to do it so I can cross it off). Yesterday I made a big dinner with lots of leftovers and I also used my new crock pot to make a stew so I'm set with food for the week.
Have a great OP day everyone!

OK, Commandos! I made it through monday at work! There is a huge meeting going on gere with treats everywhere but I laughed in the face of temptation! Ok, so I had to hide in my room as often as possible, but I didn't eat anything I hadn't planned.
Tonight I'm having salmon and veggie wok, and then I'll teach aerobics!
See you tomorrow!

Good Morning everyone. Just a quick note to say hello and to tell you all to have a great Monday. Everyday is a good day that God has created. And everyday is a good day that we are one pound closer to our goals. I weigh tomorrow, and I know the scale isnt going to be good to me, but I am not going to let what happens tomorrow set my attitude for the rest of the week. I am working on a plan for meals and exercise. :exercise: And I have taken the word BUFFET out of my Vocabulary.
Ya'll have a good day.

Morning, buddies! Doing a quick "drive-by" while I'm here at work. Another beautiful California day, but this one's supposed to be the last for awhile...we'll see!
I actually posted my food plan today on the menu challenge thread. Hoping to stick to the plan! Workout is planned for tonight after work, so I'm all set.
Feeling a little depressed the past few days - could possibly be the bombardment of Valentine ads, but even the radio sermons I've been listening to are all focusing on marriage. Sigh....makes me miss my DH even more. But I've learned food doesn't cure that, so I just may be posting more than normal in the next day or so....

You do whatever it takes, Heidi. I can't imagine being in your shoes. You are a breath of fresh air to me and lots of other buddies here. Look how far you've come!
And to add to all the good cheer.....I lost 2.6#! I am a little happy....
Okay, I'm estatic!:jump_jack It's about time!!!!!
