Good Morning Everyone!
Well I guess we were lucky yesterday we only got about 2-3" of snow. Cold and windy and lots of cars sliding off the road. But nothing like what the rest of the Northeast & East coast received.
I'm off to make friends with the treadmill for awhile.
Have a great day everyone!
We missed the snow altogether. Just a dusting....
This has been an amazingly mild winter. At work we are sellng things that never sell in Jan/Feb. Traditionally we have winter until St. Patricks Day. I hope we don't get blasted but if we do it will still go down as one of the strangest peices of good luck and mild weather.....
Good Morning everyone

Good Morning Buddies
We missed it too (not that I miss it) - just enough to freshen the foot we already have on the ground.
Well - it's Monday again. Looking forward to my bran cereal!
Hava a great day!:)

For those stuck under 3 feet of snow in the NE.. stay safe! It's 31 degrees here and I am hating it.. I do not like the cold  Good news is tomorrow the high is close to 80!
Beginning of the week.. blah. I also think I may be getting sick. Nothing huge yet.. just a little achy. :ugh: Thank goodness this week will be no where near as busy as last week. I can't do weeks like that more than once a month! Teaching this week should go pretty smoothly, but you never know. They are preteens/teenagers so drama is always around the corner! Going out to dinner tonight with my friend who got engaged over the weekend! YAY! Not much else to report.. WI will be Thursday of this week.
Have a good one buddies!

Hi Everyone!
I got my wish, school is closed for us today! Where I am on Long Island we got about a foot of snow. NYC got hit hard with about 2 feet of snow. My mom and sister are really suffering with 5 ft. drifts in the driveway. My sister said that they won't get their cars out for a few weeks! The temperature is suppose to go up to 50* by the end of the week! How crazy:crazy:is this weather?!?! DH went out yesterday to clear the cars to make sure we could move them. We don't have to shovel here because the development has maintenance people that do that. I did not go out at all yesterday, but need to get out of the house a little today!
Hope everyone has a happy OP Monday!

Good morning, buddies.
It's a beautiful, sunny day but we have l6" of the white stuff on the ground. School is delayed 2 hrs. so Forrest is just getting ready to go. It's my day out with Elaine for lunch and a movie, my belated birthday present. I had no WW meeting so I will wait to w.i. next week. The swans made it through the storm and are still swimming around the pond.
Momma, I hope you enjoyed your view of the snow. Did you get enough?
Have a great day, buddies.

Hi Buddies..
I feel guilty after reading all of your weather posts! Our weekend was about as beautiful as the Pacific NW gets..sunny mid 50's and gorgeous both days. They say that we are going to have a cold front move in this week but about the most exciting it will get is snow mixed with rain. It's a good thing there won't be anything more...these people here can't drive in the stuff it shuts the place down with 4 inches.:D (we have lot's of hills)
Went shopping this weekend and baught myself some Flannel Lined Jeans at Eddie Bauer (just because it's warmer here doesn't mean I'm not ccccooollld!)
DH and I spent the entire day together and went to lunch and dinner (seafood prepared healthy and beautifully)
Sunday we all went to see Nanny McFee. that movie is totally cute! I didn't want to see it actually but since we were having a Family Day I went..I'm glad I did.
My 9yo made her valentines in the afternoon. Chocolate "Rose" suckers for the Girls and Heart Shaped Chocolate Smilie Faces for the boys. These are all wrapped in red foils and look totally professional(well almost) some look more like they were made with "loving hands" than others.
Next month we are going to have a small party and make Panoramic Easter Eggs. You don't eat these...just look through the hole and see a beautiful easter scene.
I hope everyone get's out from under the snow!:buddysmoo

Good morning buddies! Hope all of you guys with snow are warm and dry. I keep seeing the coverage on tv, amazing.
Glad to hear those swans are still swimming, Shana!
Lisa - I know what you mean about those middle schoolers. I taught middle grades math for 12 yrs before becoming a stay-at-home mom last year. I just love that attitude and actually find myself missing it...Wierd, huh??l
I hope everybody has a super OP day! Happy Monday!!

We had a very nice weekend here in North Idaho, but, just when you think spring has sprung, we wake up to snow on the ground and coming down, its still coming down pretty good, had to find the snowsuits for the girls this morning. We haven't had any snow on the ground for a good couple of weeks. Hope we don't get to much of the white stuff, don't really care for it. Oh well thats what I get for living here. Have a great OP day.

Hello everybody. I had a dr's appt today. It's always nice to weigh less at your appt. It makes em happy, and my blood pressure was normal. So that was good to hear.
It's in the 40's here today, so all the snow is melting. It's actually kind of a mess, though.
Well, I have kickboxing tonight, and then I'm gonna watch some olympics.
Have a wonderful evening all.
