I just wanted to put into writing how excited I am. Last week my son was put in the hospital with RSV. Very scary stuff. I had been doing weight watchers and staying OP, but being in the hospital and not leaving for 4 days straight I wasn't exactly able to plan what I was going to eat. Pretty much I was at the hospital's mercy. My husband would bring me in something to eat at night and lemme tell ya it wasn't always the healthiest. When we got home all better, instead of going back to my old ways I decided that I was going to go back to staying OP and not weigh myself until I felt I was ready. I didn't want to see the gain and then get discouraged. So this morning a week after being OP after the dreaded hospital visit I weighed and to my surprise I had lost another 2 pounds. :D I feel great about sticking to the program and sticking to my own little plan. I know that there will be other road blocks on the way to my goal weight but I really feel that I can look at each one, make a plan, and follow it. I know now that even through hard times this way of life can be done. Now tomorrow's challenge the circus. :o

That is wonderful! Congratulations.
I know how hard hospital stays are. We have a daughter with severe disabilities and are normally in and out of the hospital. It's hard to try and eat healthy in those situations. You did a great job! The circus will be easy compared to the hospital stay!

Oh my goodness!! You should be so proud.
I'm glad to hear your little one is out of the hospital, too. I know how scary that can be. My 19 mo. old daughter was pretty ill her first few weeks of life and it's so draining.
Way to go on coming home and getting right back OP. Not to mention being down two pounds now. Fantastic!!!

Congrats! You made the best out of a hard situation and went right back to work when you could! Sorry to hear you were in this situation. Hope your son is doing better!

Congratulations on having a plan! :bcbsalute I know re: hospital foods/vending machines not always being point friendly, but a necessity. My mom's in the hospital and my sister and i spent about 48 hours there straight. I had brought two apples with me, but they didn't last very long! <grinning>
Hope your son is better now. It is so scary when children are ill!

Thanks for the encouragment and the concern. He's doing all better now, back to his 18 month old antics.
