This is a creamy and refreshing, 'stick to the ribs' quick breakfast. I rate this a 10/10!
The recipe was taken from the World's Healthiest Food site at: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=recipe&dbid=127

Thank you! I was looking for something I could use instead of the smoothie mix which contains aspartaime. I don't have a problem with it, but I keep reading lots of stuff about it - I figure if I can do without it, all the better~
This looks terrific and just what I wanted! Does this make 2 servings at 4 pts each? Thanks so much! Forgive me, I'm new!

This 1 TBSP Tahini (a must!)
I am not familiar with Tahini. What is it and what does it add that makes it a must?
Thanks

Tahini is sesame seed paste, found with the Middle Eastern food in the grocery store. It is usually used to make hummus, I've never used it for anything else.

I am not sure we have that section in our stores. What happens if I don't use it? Thanks

Wonderful recipe. I sometimes add 1/2 cup of blueberries and 1/2 cup strawberries. Adding powdered why adds 40 calories but 9 grams of protein, which keeps me from getting hungry. Congratulations on giving up the cigs! That is an Amazing accomplishment!!!!!

mmm this sounds good. i just bought an awesome blender and i can't wait to try this!
I am not sure we have that section in our stores. What happens if I don't use it? ThanksTahini is sort of tart and nutty, at least the brand I buy is. The hummus recipe I use suggests subbing in an equal portion of peanut butter (and honestly, they taste about the same to me) if you have no tahini but I'm not sure what the point difference would be.
I've sometimes found it in jars next to the falafel mixes and couscous (usually by the rice mixes and plain rice), if that helps any.
