Hi,
Can anyone tell me some good sources of vegetarian protein. I have finally found out that incorporating more protein into your diet keeps you fuller, duh:o. Anyways the only real protein source I am getting now is from eggs. I was just wondering what you guys do for protein
Thanks

Hi, Tofu, Tempeh, all the soy products starting with soy milk and things like the "meat" substitutes, seitan, cheeses, regular milk, nuts, lentils (my favorite), and beans can be used as a source of protein. Over all women do not require as much as men, nor do you require as much as the marketing people out there lead you to believe. And don't forget there is some protein in whole wheat products (like bread). Yes, it keeps you "full," but so do fats. I tried to be "fatfree" and stopped losing weight. So get at least three serving with whatever you eat to also keep you "full."
Good luck and check out some of the vegetarian food sites for recipes.

I mostly eat egg whites (no yolks) and tofu dishes. Green veggies are supposed to be good too. However, I am picky about green veggies so I just stick to the other two.
As with everything in WW and veggie land, just experiment and see what makes you feel good!
