Have any of you ever heard of once or twice a month eating a large meal off plan to kick start your metabolism?

I have run into this idea about 80 times (slight exaggeration) the last couple of weeks. Friday night I had dinner with a couple of WW Lifetime members and they brought it up on their own when they found out I was doing WW's.

Anyone know authoritatively? I don't want to try it without studying the idea more.

Here is what one woman did, based on a similar theory, but still staying OP.

I don't know if "off plan" is the right way to put it, but I think I know what you're talking about. I know a lot of people don't use any flex points during the week and then spend them all on Saturday night. I guess that's technically on program.

I know that CW came up with a modified Wendy Plan a while back.
(The CWendy Plan?) :D

I *think* the idea was to use 10 of your flex points every other day for 3 days and eat only your daily target points (plus APs) for the other 4 days. That still leaves you 5 flexies to play with during the week.

Of course you'll want to get CW's input before trying that because I probably screwed it all up. :embarrass

no thats true i am no longer on the WW program but am a preacher of the program. What happens is your body gets use to the same old rutine if you do eat a big meal this will jolt your metabolism. Are you working out at allweights, running ? weight training will help you burn fat but you must eat more to keep up with it other wise you will burn muscle .
