I'm going to "borrow" Vince's idea and start up a thread for this week.
Post what you're doing to earn your daily APs.

If you're not posting, we're going to assume that you're a SLACKER! :p

======================

SUNDAY: Worked out on the home gym for 29 minutes. :bcbsalute
Kinda light, but it earned me 3 APs. (I only ate 1 of them tho)

MONDAY: I plan to walk this evening (weather permitting)

Sunday I was a slacker:D . Didn't do much but watch football. My wife bought us 3 new Tae Bo videos Saturday so I plan to tackle one of them later today. I might have figured it wrong but on the WW website it says 45 minutes of Tae Bo has an AP level of 8. Don't know if that's right but it sounds good. I'll post after I do it.
Incidentally, I "killed" my6 heavy bag during my last workout. Don't know what happened.

WHOA! http://www.jeeps4ever.com/Smilies/Smilies/eek2.gif That must have been a helluva workout!

I've never tried Tae Bo, but the APs should be based on the intensity level and your current weight. Here's some info I got from DWLZ:

-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------

Activity Points

In addition to eating your Target points each day, you may choose to earn and optionally eat Activity points. Activity points earned must be used on the same day they are earned, if they are used at all. Activity points are fully described on, and can be calculated with, your POINTSbooster. If you don’t have it handy, you can use a calculator and the following formulas.

Activity points for light intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00023
Activity points for moderate intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00033
Activity points for high intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00081

Light intensity is described as being able to talk and sing, with regular breathing and no sweating. Examples of light intensity activities are leisurely walking or biking.

Moderate intensity is described as being able to talk but not sing, with deep breathing and sweating after 10 minutes. Examples of moderate intensity activities are brisk walking or brisk biking.

High intensity is described as being able to only talk briefly, with rapid deep breathing and sweating after 3-5 minutes. Examples of high intensity activities are running or competitive cycling.

BTW, tomorow is my rest (slacker) day.
WI, WW meeting, The Biggest Loser season finale! :)

Not sure of my activity points but my workout today was the Ab Bootcamp Tae Bo workout. It was a 35 minute workout. It wasn't real intense but It's a great workout. I would guess 3 AP's.

This morning I got up planning on hitting the gym for 1.5 hours or so. Stepped out the front door and it had dropped like 30 degrees over night. That turned me right around sent me back inside. I did hit the home gym. Worked the speed bag, heavy bag, and jump rope for a while. Finished up with some light bi/tri work. Was sweating like crazy after that jump rope. Earned 4 ap but only going to eat 1. That workout just felt too light to earn points.

Cw 325 goal of 319 on sunday not looking real good.

Well it conveniently stopped raining about the time I got home from work yesterday so was able to get my walk in. It was even warm enough that I didn't need a jacket.

34 minutes of light exercise = 3 APs. :bcbsalute
(I only ended up eating one of them)

No APs for me today. It's a rest day.

Besides, I have no time. I have (post Thanksgiving) weigh in tonight and
then it's straight home to watch the live 2-hour Biggest Loser grand finale!

I got in a total of 1.5 hours yesterday. Lifted for about an hour and walked on the treadmill at at 17 min mile for 30 min. Earned around 10 AP. I used 7 of them for protein. Going to the gym tonight for another long session. I am trying to hit my goal of under 320 by sunday. I'm a little behind but who knows I might get there that would be 25 off so far. Weighed 323 this morning

TGIF! :)

Well, I had planned to walk last night, but there was some freezing rain going on out there so I changed my mind. (and I couldn't hit the weights because I had just done that the night before)

I had planned to take a rest day today, so I'm just going to swap and walk tonight.
(or maybe I'll just work out again)

Time to buy an exercise bike I guess.

Well,
Today is my Ab Bootcamp Tae Bo Day. So, I'll do that but I'm in a workout mood today so I'll probably do the basic training bootcamp as well. My wife did Tae Bo for the first time last night. She did the Ab Bootcamp workout. I think it kicked her butt. I'll post when I actually do my workout today.

Hello Gents,

One of my favorite mottos of all time "Nobody ever drowned in sweat" I have currently made a commitment to hit the gym 7 Nights a week.

I plan to run on the elyptical machine for 60 Minutes, I have been doing this for the past two days. I am not sure if I am helping or hurting myself by doing this, but I feel great when i leave the gym.

Welcome to BcB Joe! I like the motto.
7 days a week is pretty hard core! http://hoosierdaddys.homestead.com/BcB/eek.gif Just make sure that you work different muscle groups each day. Working the same set of muscles two days in a row is supposed to be bad. At least that's what I was told over in the WW & Exercise (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32) forum.

Best of luck to you.

Good Morning, Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is my WI. I am very nervous because I was kind of not OP during Xmas and Xmas Eve. I have been doing my Hour on the Elyptical Machine. This morning I went for a brisk walk about 1 mile.

Hope everyone else has a good workout.

Good ole' uncle sam see's to it that I get 1.5 hours 4 times a week in some way shape or form. It can be anything from several mile runs to pushups, situps, leglifts, pullups, etc... to football or some form of sport. I consider myself extremely lucky in this aspect, Im not entirely convinced I would work out how I should without it being part of my job.

Good Morning and Good Friday.

Quick Question, Since my gain of 1.6 Lbs at Last Weeks WI. I have been spending 60 Minutes a night on the elyptical machine, as well as going for walks during the day.

Is this acceptable?
