Hey Guys
New here but been on WW for about a month now. Are there any serious lifters here on WW. I just got over a couple of injures that kept me from lifting. I gained about 20 pounds while I was down and also am having trouble getting my strength back. I got in a accident in August at that time I was about 320 and was benching over 450. I got back on WW about a month ago and am down from 345 to 325 but I am only working out with around 350 and strugling with that. This is very weird for me cause I have always built strength very quickly. I feel good on the diet but I just wonder if I am starving my muscle. Anyone tell me how many Activity points I would build up powerlifting for 1.5 hours 4 times a week. I need points for protein. I THINK?

Welcome aboard Rhino.
I've only been on WW for about 5 months and I only recently started lifting again, so I'm not even going to pretend that I know enough to give you advice on a powerlifting diet. (In fact I'll probably have a few questions for you!)
There is a certified trainer named Jennifer M here on the forum. She hangs out over on the WW & Exercise (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32) board. I'm sure that she could help you out in that department.
As for APs, she told me to count weight lifting as a moderate activity.
If you don't have your AP booster slider thingy, here is some info...

Activity Points
In addition to eating your Target points each day, you may choose to earn and optionally eat Activity points. Activity points earned must be used on the same day they are earned, if they are used at all. Activity points are fully described on, and can be calculated with, your POINTSbooster. If you don’t have it handy, you can use a calculator and the following formulas.
Activity points for light intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00023
Activity points for moderate intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00033
Activity points for high intensity = [your weight] x [minutes] x 0.00081
Light intensity is described as being able to talk and sing, with regular breathing and no sweating. Examples of light intensity activities are leisurely walking or biking.
Moderate intensity is described as being able to talk but not sing, with deep breathing and sweating after 10 minutes. Examples of moderate intensity activities are brisk walking or brisk biking.
High intensity is described as being able to only talk briefly, with rapid deep breathing and sweating after 3-5 minutes. Examples of high intensity activities are running or competitive cycling.

So, your CW 325 x 90 minutes x .00033 = 10 APs/workout!
Go eat some extra protein dude! :)

Thanks, that does help alot. I have been eating 4 AP points a day for a protein bar but I am wanting to up that. I am just really watching my intake cause I have a problem losing weight when I am lifting heavy. Love the extra muscle but it sure discourages you when you get on the scale.
Thanks Again
Wade
