Hi Dear Wonderful Buddies,
Hope your all doing well. Drop in an let us know how your doing if you have time. It's always good to hear.
Yesterday was our anniversary. My husband took me to a place called Shady Maple Smorgaboard. It's got a 50 ft. food bar made of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking. It's in the heart of Amish country. It was the beginning of my WW week so I had all my flex points. I came away full but not stuffed and moaning. I really enjoy that feeling.
After that he took me to Good Will while he checked out a local nursery. I love to shop at Good Will. You never know what you'll find. I bought some books that looked interesting.
Have a great OP day everyone. Nancy

Hi Nancy:
Isn't that the greatest place if you are really going to eat? My husband and I were there about a month ago for the first time. We went into the gift shop and he bought me wind chimes that have an absolutely beautiful sound. We stayed at Spring Gultch Campground about 5-10 min. down the road from Shady Maple. Like you, I did not go away stuffed. I really couldn't sit there and eat that much but the food and atmosphere was great!!

Good morning Arena, Addie, and Nancy and all other buddies to follow. I hope you are all having a great day today. It's sunny out here so I'm happy! No baby yet, but the dr. says it will most likely be this week. Yippee! Not much planned for today, just work, walk with DH and have dinner. I'll probably work more on my cross-stitch too - it's really coming along.
Nancy: That restaurant sounds wonderful. My parents are very interested in anything Amish. We have an Amish community in Harmony, Minnesota and they go down there to camp quite often.
Arena: That's good to hear that you talked to ds. I pray for him everyday that he would come back to the Lord.
Addie: Welcome! I'm not sure we've talked before, but I look forward to getting to know you better.

Good Morning Budies:kiss:
Well the sun is finally trying to peep out this morning. They still have rain in the forecast for the next week but maybe we will get a little sunshine.
Not much going on here today except household chores. I am trying some new recipes this week and so far they have been really good. I tried Cybergranny's Core Refried Bean Casserole last night and it made a huge amount and was soooo good. It really hit the spot for my Mexican craving. Also, I love having enough for several containers for the freezer.
I hope everyone has a great OP day! Good luck to any Thursday W/I's. Hugs and prayers to all of you:buddysmoo
Nancy - I'm so glad you had a good time last night for your anniversary dinner. Sounds like a wonderful place to eat and you handled it well. Oh how I wish you lived close to me. I think we could have some real fun with thrift stores and yard sales. Those are my favorite places to shop!!
Addie - Hello and Welcome! I love to camp. We just got home Tuesday from a camping trip. I can't wait to get to know you better.
Arena - I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation. Please be careful. Give those grandchildren a big hug from me. I can't wait to get my hands on my little Dre'son next weekend. I am so happy that your DS called. I am praying for God to touch his body and give him the strength he needs to make it through this.
Laura - Isn't it nerve racking to know that at any moment you will get that all important phone call! Boy did my stomach turn flips when it fianlly came. Keep us updated. The sun is trying to peep out here also but it is still suppose to rain everyday for the next week. We needed some rain but enoughs enough. What are you cross stitching? I love to cross stitch and would love to know how to crochet. My mom tried to teach me one time but I kept making my stitches different sizes:ugh: .
Oh Mary where are you? I miss you my friend!

Hello ladies. I babysat the 3 yo twins again last night - they are so precious! My favorite picture of the night was one of them, Michael, running around with his pants falling down and their 2 month old puppy chasing him. He was cracking up. So cute! When I put them to bed they decided the meanest thing they could think to tell me was "You have freckles!". Kids are great!
I had my WI this morning and I'm down another lb - which is good because I haven't been very good this last week. But I need to step it up if I want to reach 21 lbs lost by my 21st. So praise God that His mercies are new every morning and I can just start over again.
I'm going into work today and then the jr high group is tonight. I hope we play some fun games - the kids are great and so much fun!
Hope everyone is blessed by God's amazing love today. I'll check back in later.
Nancy - Happy Anniversary! That restaurant sounds wonderful, do the Amish run it? Good Will is fun - especially for costumes.
Addie - Hi, I've never met you before!
Arena - Praise God your ds called you! I hope you have a wonderful vacation and stay OP! See you when you get back.
Laura - Sounds like a nice, relaxing day. It's so encouraging to hear how much you and your DH encourage and spend time together.
MrsD - Wow...you have been up for a long time. I pray that the Lord would give you energy and joy today.
Gail - Hope the sun does come out. I have a soft spot for Mexican food too, that casserole sounds good!
Tammy - Hope the graduation goes well. How cute, kindergartners!

Good morning buddies. I am working today as a highschool math teacher. I went for a walk yesterday and this afternoon I will either go for a walk/jog or a bike ride. This evening I go to my Celebrate Recovery group. I am looking forward to it tonight. We have a band and singers that lead us in worship with 3-4 songs and then it is either a lesson or testimony then we break up into small groups. Will after worship our senior pastor is speaking. I am looking forward to hearing what he has to say. Plus we are having a nice dinner before hand.
Arena I am glad you heard from your ds and that he is ok.
I have to go my lunch is going to be over soon.

Hello ladies!
I got my cardio in today before Noon. that's good. I have been struggling with motivation to workout for the past 3-4 days. I am only 20 days away from the end of my first round of Power 90 so I don't want to quit or even miss a day. This is the longest exercise commitment I have ever made adn stuck with. I am proud of myself. :)
I am still praying for strength during this trial as the enemy is trying to beat me up from all angles. My husband informed me he is planning on filing the divorce papers in february. I am still praying and hoping for a miracle. I have to be patient and wait on the Lord. In the meantime I am going to go back to scholl in the fall working towards a certificate for Web Design. My husband said he "thinks" he can support me while I return to school. praying for God to completeely soften his heart and that he will WANT to support me while I go to school.

Hi buddies.:) Just a quick drop by for me. I've missed coming here daily, but I've been so busy. I still try to check in every day and read up on everyone, but it's usually late at night. I keep you all in my prayers. Alot of chaos here. Ds #2 just moved back in and dh is in the process of changing jobs. We're heading to Dover tomorrow for the races. Dh bought the camper up there last weekend. Mostly all the hotels south of Dover, all through Delaware, into Ocean City, Md. are booked solid. It's such a huge event here. Well, I've got laundry and lots of packing to do. Hope you all have a safe, blessed weekend. Hugs and prayers to you all.:buddysmoo
Gail, hope ds is doing ok and is out of the hospital. Glad you had fun camping. We're camping again on Father's Day weekend.
Arena, so happy you heard from ds!
Laura, prayers for your sister and baby for safe delivery.
To everyone else, I miss you and will keep you in my prayers.:buddysmoo
