View Full Version : Another Question for my buddies!
So I'm making some artichokes for dinner tonight and I was wondering what kind of dipping sauce do you all use? I'm going for my ff blue cheese dressing but was just wondering if there was any other ideas floating around........ love them artichokes!

I love artichokes too! Haven't had any since I've started WW, but two things came to mind.
Is it possible to make a light/ff lemon butter? That's what I always dipped them in pre-WW.
Or...and this might be a stretch, what about a dijion dipping sauce made with FF Yogurt or Sour Cream and Dijion Mustard? Haven't tried it, just a thought...
Hope that helps, and doesn't gross anyone out! :embarrass :ugh:
Hey Barb - I don't use any sauce. I used to use mayo, but stopped when I started doing WW :).
I cook my artichokes in water with sliced onions and garlic - that really helps give more flavor.

OKay, this is coming from the non cook of the bunch, but how do you even cook an artichoke? I love eating them at resteraunt, but wouldn't have a clue what to do with one in the kitchen!!

Angela, I put mine in a steamer with a little olive oil and garlic. Depending on the size of the Arti, I just take off a middle leaf and she if the meat is tender about 45 min large i guess!!Happy cooking
