Good Morning Ladies.

Yes I am up early. Bill left for a tournament a little while ago, so I had him wake me up before he left so I wouldn't sleep late.

I really didn't want to exercise yesterday, but I forced myself to do it. I really thought to myself that I had to finish my exercise pledge. Sometimes the knowledge of accountability is all that is needed to light the fire under the butt to move it. I am glad that I did though, it was definately a great workout.

I really didn't do much else yesterday. Meeting, cleaned, food shopping. Thats it. I did get the new WW cookbook that is out......Grill it. I looked through a few of the recipes and they look good. Nice mixture of Core and Flex.

So on tap for today is meeting, then going to my mom's for a while. I am meeting her later so she can watch Garrett while I am at my meeting. Other than that, nothing else for me to do.

I'll be back later.

Hi buddies it is gloomy here. I am off for a jog. I need to lose my extra pounds by the end of June. I hate when my skirts feel ight. I hope you all have a good one. DS and I are going skating so I will get extra exercise today.

Jen: I ran yesterday and am off to do so this morning. I have to toughen up. I still have the 4 pounds I gainedfrom my trip and I have gained 3 more. It is harder for me in the summer. I am going to step up on the exercise. Joggin helps me lose weight faster.
Lizzy: I hope your dear BF feels better.
Lori T: MY MIL is hanving a great time in Indianapolis.

Just a minute to post and get some coffee before running off to church. I am going to try a walk today. My foot felt better yesterday than it has since it started bothering me, so I'm going to try it, nice and easy, of course. Did get the art fair in yesterday and it was very nice. A lot of beautiful work displayed. The sculpture and glass work exhibits were especially interesting. No money to indulge in the arts right now, but it's fun to look. I was an idiot and forgot the sun screen (it's an outdoor thing in the town square) and I have a heck of a sunburn on my back. Lesson learned, ouch! I'll try to pop on for some personals after early service. Have a great day everyone!

Morning ladies, Slept great last night. Dont think Id have woke up if neighbor beat the door in.:D I have put some white beans in crockpot to cook while im at church. Checked the points cal.70 fat 0 fiber13g. One point per 1/2 cup! I put garlic cloves in white beans and when there finished cooking I put chicken boullin cube. My cornbread is low in points too! I am making chicken too and the kids mac and cheese. I steer clear of the mac and cheese!

Im going to try to do the firm today not sure which one

Well need to go. GinaH
Lizzy: Wishing you some rest and BF fast recovery
Jen: Hi buddy. Turns out that im not going to Lead the meetings this week. Just the paper work. How many pick of the season cards do you have?? We got bananas pears and thats it. Carrots ive seen and Watermelon do you have those?
Stamps: I really think its harder to maintain after you reach goal. Hang in there.
Cdv:have a good day at church.
Fiona: I will help you all I can with getting out of the rut, Good luck

Morning,

Ugh...I get up so early to go to the gym on the weekdays that I'm up at 6am today! I think I'm going to go to Disneyland (Annual Passholder) and get some activity points. I just bought the WW Pedometer and would love to see how many steps it takes to get around Disneyland!

Spent pretty much all my WAP yesterday on my husbands birthday lunch but it was worth it. Made it through the graduation party without touching a bite!

Just found out that my cousin's baby shower is on June 18th. These cousins haven't seen me since last August so I'm setting a goal of my 10% on June 18th. I have 7.1lbs to go - so I think I can do it!!!

Have a great sunday everyone!

Morning guys,

Crazy week. Jim leaves today for New Orleans. I have a ton of stuff going on so the pups will be coming to work with me again. Bubba Jr is going to be honked off at staying home alone!

Tons of errands to do today and then studying. Laundry should probably factor in at some point, but not sure.

Jilli - got your message late last night. Will try and call later today or this evening.

Morning everyone. Boy Jen, you're up and at 'em today. All about the focus :)

I'm very proud of myself for yesterday. We had a birthday party for one of Dev's new school friends, and I specifically got up early and worked out because I wanted to be able to enjoy a piece of birthday cake without guilt. I was happy I did it, but what made me even happier was at the party, they had some chips, pretzels, and the YUMMIEST apples on the planet. They were trader joe's pre-cut apple slices, with skin, and I had to check the package because they were SO SWEET I thought they must have been coated in honey. I think I had 2 apples worth, so by the time it came to cake, I wasn't hungry at all. I did have a fingerfull of icing, which is my favorite part, and that was it.
It was fun to watch Dev run around with his new friends at the spash park afterwards. He was so afraid to go the party, we had so many discussions about it because I didn't want to MAKE him go. DH did want to make him go because he knew he'd enjoy it, but I was caving, so he took over :) Nice to meet some parents as well. With summer coming, I want to have solid relationships so we can set up play dates, although I'm guessing we'll be spending most of our time at the pool. It's supposed to hit 99 today.

Not much going on here today. Dev and I will make our bi-weekly trip to Trader Joes today, where I WILL pick up some of those apple slices, and for the most part just bumming around the house and chilling out. I might put some seeds in the back garden beds today, we'll see.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Well I am back from my meeting.

It was a nice one, but not alot of people. Prom was this weekend, so I bet alot of people are dealing with their kids from that.

I bought myself a new points bracelet. The other one I had is dead. LOL I need visuals, so I figure I can use this to keep track of my weekly points allowance (although it only goes to 30). Anything to stay in control of the situations before me!

So Garrett is at my moms and I get a little time to exercise in peace and quiet! HOORAY! Now if I can keep Sasha from trying to help me, especially when it gets to floor work (she likes to come over to make me rub her belly and to lick me) I will be fine.

Lizzy- Have DBF's kids gotten to know you yet? I hope you have a wonderful day.

Sumari- When are you starting that yoga class?

Fiona- I hope you can get back into the mindset. Think about this being week 1 again. Just start like you are a new member and go from there.

Chris- Ouch on the sunburn! Hope you stay comfortable today. I bet that art was gorgeous.

Gina- I thought you had gotten your own meeting. You need one! LOL Yes we have the watermelon cards. I haven't even looked at it to tell you the truth. I think I am going to like this new Grill it cookbook!!!

Pam- I know you can lose that weight before the shower! Do you like the new pedometer? I have mine. The only thing I do not like about it is there is no cover over the buttons. I have reset this thing a few times by accident.

Lori- I hope Bubba doesn't take it on the pups by lifting his leg again! I hate when Bear acts jealous and does that to Sasha!!! Have a great day.

Alright, I am going to go and get my exercise in.
I'll be back later.

I'm back :)

The party is over and a load of stress went away with it! woo hoo!!! We really had a great time. Monica was the queen bee all day. It was so much fun to have all of her friends here.

Today I am relaxing and taking it easy (my feet are killing me - I was on them for 13 hrs straight yesterday!). Plan on doing a little cooking for the week. Not for today though, since we have leftover chicken, beans and salad from the party.

I am happy to say I am back in the right frame of mind to focus on being OP again. Thanks for all of your support buddies!!

Good Morning girls!

This is the last time I'm going to say "still dissertating." Henceforth you can assume that I am still doing it, as it is never going to end. Well, I guess it will eventually end in December... come h*ll or high water.

I'm still not 100% after the food poisoning :ugh: . Yesterday I felt off all day and was unable to eat all my points. Anyone who's ever read my previous posts should realize that for me, the "eat your points! don't starve!" queen, that's pretty extreme. I'm still feeling queasy this morning, in fact, but I've got no choice but to soldier on :bcbsalute.

Everybody--DH (he's a mathematician) created this awesome spreadsheet for me that is a points journal-- the cool part is that you can either enter in the points if you know them or the cals/fat/fiber and it will calculate them for you. It then keeps track of how many points you have left, and if you use more than your DPA, it keeps track of your WPA use for the week and lets you know how many of *those* you have left for the week (it's done on a weekly basis). At the bottom of the page, he even put the little checkboxes for water/fruit & veg/milk/oil. It's written in excel. If anybody wants a copy of it, just let me know and I'll email it to you as an attachment. I'm using it and my quiktrak, though-- the qt is way more portable and it can't ever "crash" ;)

Jen-- have you seen the cute point bracelets on ebay? All custom made for your exact number of points, etc. I've contemplated picking one up. But for now, I'm sticking with the journal everything system.

Have a great OP day!

Hi ladies,
been away for a bit .. last week just managed to say op barrely.. seemed to be hungry alot not sure as to why all I know is with out those flex points i woulda been much worse off. Friday, yesterday and Today have been MUCH better. I WI tomarrow and am hoping that i might still have lost a little bit even with the bad week. Hoping for an easier week.
If it warms up today I am planning on trying the little kids in the new bike seat and trailer i got.. found at a garage sale! so they too can enjoy mommy's excersize. Hoping it wont wig out the 2 yr old too much and he will be able to enjoy it. If it doesnt warm up enough for that Ill just go dig up more garden space in back yard for veggie plants.

HI ALL,

The wedding was cold and rainy, however, when we drove into the town and the park where it was being held it was very sunny and amazingly so, as from the time that we drove out of our driveway until that exit off of the interstate it was raining. I do believe that it was the only partially sunny spot in the whole state. It was also good that we were the grooms family as the rain blew into the tent on the bride's side. LOL I do think that the pastor cut it short because of the cold and wind, and they were not able to light their unity candle, but it was a nice wedding regardless. I am just glad that it is done and that we made it home at a decent time to sleep in our own beds. We have church to go to again tonight.

We are having a Singspiration evening and the a Pie and Ice Cream Social after. UGH!! I did not have cake at the wedding yesterday as DH watches me like a hawk!!

Sunday mornings are always a rush for us!! Trying to get everything laid out as to take out the guesswork for everyone makes it somewhat easier, but it is still a challenge.

We had the best fruit at the wedding yesterday. It was a huge bowl of oranges, melons, grapes, so YUMMY!!

mamaov4~ I can totally relate with you on that "very hungry feeling". I have had that both yesterday and today.

Tree~ The Spreadsheet that you DH made sounds WAY COOL!!! Maybe next February when I am right back on track I will get a copy.

Yogi~ Glad that your party went so well and that the stress is gone. Have a great day.

Jen~ I hear ya, ANYTHING to make me more accountable is worth it. I especially like it when it includes JEWELRY!! ;)

Sue~ 99 almost sounds like a dream when it is 49 here. :D WAY to go on that party and enjoying those apples instead!!

Pam~ You can do it!! It will be fun to get together with your cousins. It was fun seeing a good portion of mine yesterday!

Lori T~ Hope that you had a great day!! Poor Bubba missing his little Bubba's.

Gina H~ I love Mac and Cheese, but I may just as well stick it to the back and inner parts of my thighs as to eat it. UGH!!

Lizzy~ They must be planning on getting the best Director as they are taking their sweet time. Hope that you have a great day buddy.

Fiona~ Nice to see you back here. Hang in there and keep thinking positive thoughts.

Sumari~ I hate when any of my bottom clothes feel tight! I am going to have to really get used to it here shortly.

Chris~ It is so easy to forget the sunscreen. Glad that you had good enough weather to go though and that your foot is feeling somewhat better.

Hi to everyone else,

Read ya soon,

Wendy

Hello everyone,

ready to strangle DBF. According to his email, it looked like he couldn't get together. so I ate when i got home. He phones me and asks where i am.:( Any how he's now coming down here
So instead of a b'day meal tonite, I'll take him out for ice cream( that way i don't have to get him a cake). My week starts today so have some wiggle room.
Had to rush and wrap his gift. He'll get his b'day dinner soon within the next week.

Take care just had to share.

Ok gals
Enjoy your night!

Aww, Wendy! You're a gorgeous (pregnant!) girl. If you CHOOSE not to try the cake because you don't want the calories, that's one thing. It's not up to the manboob whether or not you have room in your diet for a little cake!

Glad you surived the bad-weather wedding. Good luck at the ice-cream social! And if you want a taste of ice cream, I hope you have it.
