Here's the finished quilt for Virginia's friend who has been so ill. She has swelling of the brain and lesions (not malignant) that are very slowly healing with steroids. She has had stroke -like symptoms and is learning how to walk and talk again with rehab. Very scary....she is 37. She and Virg have been friends since they were 11 and stood up at each other's weddings...........a lot of history.

Diana just beautiful and how nice of you to make it. That pattern is it from
"still stripping after all these years" by Eleanor Burns? My friend made that in purples and greens and it is stunning and so easy. That is on my list to make some day. Very nice and thanks for sharing.

Peg, there was no pattern except in my head. I had one of those calendars with a block-a-day from 2 yr. ago and found one I liked.........from there it just grew "like topsy". I like to do that sometimes, just go with the flow and if I run out of one fabric, I just substitute something else. Lord knows, I have a stash big enough to be embarrassed about! LOL Thanks for all the kind comments.

Diana, she is going to be thrlled. You are such an artist and to have done that without a pattern is way beyond me. Congratulations on another beautiful quilt.
