I'm new to Core so I'm still trying to get my menus and recipes rolling.
What's everyone having tonight? I have some round steak but I'm not sure what to do with it.

I turned all our leftover turkey into white bean turkey chili. I had it for lunch so maybe I won't have it for dinner...I also have some ham and bean soup in the fridge.

I don't "officially" start until tomorrow, but I went shopping today, and tonight for dinner I am having cut up steak with onions and peppers, fried up in 2 tsp olive oil and A-1 steak sauce, plus green beans and a snack cup of sugar free apple sauce (add Splenda and cinnamon).

I am making the "to die for" roast beef in the crockpot. I put baby carrots and sweet potatoes in there too. We will be having salad too.I hope it is good! I made turkey noodle soup out of my turkey yesterday - we had that last night for dinner. It was excellent!

No Thanksgiving leftovers here!
We are having roast chicken, roasted potatoes & parsnips (sprayed with Pam!), green beans & mashed potato.
I am also making the core crockpot apple dessert - in the oven with pineapple instead of apple. Hoping it is as yummy as the apple version!
I wish it was ready - I'm hungry!

I ended up just having PB (natural, crazy Richards, NOT microwaved:bcb_wink3) and J (sugar free jelly)! And core pumpkin pie (with oatmeal "crust")!

Turkey burger on Wh W bun with tomatoes and onions.
Big green salad with Core vinegarette.
Couple dill pickles.
Grapes for dessert.
My son and I were just saying how that Core vinegarette has saved our lives. Thanks Carol!

Hamburger Barley Soup: http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/showthread.php?t=97440
I made it in the Crockpot and used venison instead of hamburger.
I put a slice of FF swiss cheese on top.
And an orange on the side.

DH made roasted chicken stuffed with oranges, ginger, and rosemary (mmmmm), baked acorn squash that we had with olive oil drizzled on top, green salad, and baked potato.
I needed another dairy and fruit or veg., so later I made a smoothie with ff milk, frozen blueberries and 1/8 of a pack of sf/ff pudding mix.

My 22 lb turkey is almost GONE??? How did this happen! I made white chili out of it and it is almost gone and everything else from Tday is ALSO gonebcb_sad!!! If I hadn't been so sick over the weekend I would have run out to buy another turkey. I LIKE leftover turkey...
Anyway, dinner for me was white chili with polenta...I guess that was it...seemed like more!:bcb_smile

Roast chicken, roasted yams with fresh rosemary and olive oil, corn, broccoli, gr salad with some avocado, and crustless pumpkin pie.
Does it get any better than that?
