Today was a good day, Buddies!
I got some great ideas I'm going to try this week.
First, mornings are going to be about exercise, and moving more, and cooking, and planning...and I'm going to come to BCB at the end of the day ~ :kiss:
I'm calling this "Carol And Her DH's LOVE And HEALTH Plan"! :bcb_grin (He's going to be a helpful resource for me this week.)
A.M. Took a 40-minute walk with DH and Ddog. Kept HR in the zone.
Took "chill pills". Drank tea. Prepared water/Cranberry Juice Light. Kept trying to move more! Noticed that when I was at the computer it was low, and not-in-the-zone. When I was drying my hair, I was in-the-zone! I was moving from foot-to-foot and really making it a WILD time! :bcb_happy
Before lunch: Made a small batch of roasted chickpeas with my homecooked garbanzos. Dee-licious. And had some Metamucil. (Can you say "FULL"?! :bcb_huh:)
Lunch: Homemade hummus, spinach, and 1/2 Amy's veggie burger
Snack: Sliced apple (and vitamins)
Dinner: 1/2 C. spelt, frozen stir-fry vegetables, 1/2 Amy's veggie burger and some homemade hummus
Met 8-Greats, except for dairy. Took a calcium pill. Will focus on that tomorrow.:salut [Edit: Realize that my lack of dairy probably resulted in less protein, i.e. grains+dairy or beans+ dairy= complete proteins...so I think I'll add-in a glass right now.]
Tomorrow I'll be up at 6:30 to get to Pilates, and I am going to add in more movement throughout the day ~ :bcb_smile I can see that is going to be KEY.
I'll be back tomorrow evening~ Hope I see you then! :wave: :bcb_grin And tomorrow I'll add Bob Greene's 10th step, which I think is my favorite~
