I dont think I shared this before but I was out of a car for a little while due to insurance and registration, but got it all fixed and the only thing left was to do the brakes. So YAY I can drive again, uhhh yeah that's what you think lol. Read on..
So it starts last weekend.. I was at a friend's and Dan had to fix the brakes to be able to come and get my in Sacramento (about 1.5 hr away). She had picked me up on her way home from her parents since she drives right by us.
So he fixes the brakes and between then and Sunday, someone hits his bike while it's parked on the parking lot. Knocks it over breaking off one of the foot pegs and the rear view mirror. So right now he can't drive it until the parts come in and he can fix it.
So he's had my van all week. He was supposed to work a race yesterday but it got cancelled due to rain. So I decided I was going to go to my Gramma's and visit with her and take her the sewing machine I borrowed and have her hem up these new jeans I bought. I get about halfway there and my freakin tire blows out.
A nice couple had stopped to let me use their cell and I got a hold of my Dad who just came back into town like literally 5 min after I called. He came down, used his AAA to get them to come out and put the spare on and then I went straight home..
What a day.
