Sounds like ME the first time I used mine...!! LOL!!

But you're learning, and eventually, all those sights/sounds will be familiar and you'll feel comfortable with the process.

Can't wait to hear how things turned out!!

Carol, it turned out great!!! I can't believe how tender the meat was! I cooked a 3lb beef roast in less than an hour! How great is that?! I can't wait to try something else now!! Any suggestions?
Have a great OP day!

Oh, Cindy...Isn't that GREAT?!!

I bought two cookbooks by Lorna Sass, "Cooking Under Pressure" and "Pressured Cooks"...Everything I have made has been wonderful.

My family especially loves the Porcupine Meatballs in Marinara (takes 10 minutes, I believe). I think I've posted some recipes here. I'll pull them to the top if I have!

Oh, and I know Charski has some great websites for recipes, too. Carol

YAY Cindy! You go, girl!

You can find a ton of recipes by going to a search engine, such as yahoo or google, and in the search field type this exactly or copy and paste it:

"pressure cooker" AND recipes

It will come up with a BUNCH of sites to get various types of recipes -- that's how I found a lot of the ones I like!

Have fun and be sure to post anything that you like under Crockpots and Pressure Cookers so the rest of us can try 'em too!

This is the one I have, only mine is Cooks Essentials from QVC:

This is a great price, I paid about $50 more for mine, and their shipping is a flat $2.95 to the lower 48!
