    Default New Forum Leaders

I've selected a handful of members to help with forum moderation in the event of my absence(happens often). Though we do not really 'need' moderators here, since our community is comprised of mostly mature adult individuals - there have been times were a rouge spammer has gotten through our automatic blocks, or certain posts have gone way off topic and needed cleaned up.

The moderators are just regular members who use the forums everyday, and now have the ability to do house cleaning when necessary.

If you have technical problems, or are stuck in the "No Activty" group, you will still need to contact me for a resolution.

Anything related to threads, posts, users, or other forum activities can be brought up to the attention of a moderator.

All users have the ability to report threads. When you do so, it will be brought to the moderators attention and can be dealt with in a timely fashion.

I'd like to confirm with my selections their ability to fulfill the roles first, and then we will list them under the old "Forum Leaders" tab that will be brought back.

Me too. Our group in the 50's needs a sticky now and then. We can also get rid of advertisements.

    She was given an explanation.

Glad to be a help to keep our threads from being abused. Rarely see anything in the group I am in.

Jason could you also please take my profile down? Delete my membership. I can't share here any longer. It's safer I don't.

I am seeing this now. Looks like I will be spending the whole weekend trying to patch this up.

    *sigh*

All leaders/moderators from the 50's group have been temporarily removed. It's apparent I do not spend any time here, and have no idea what is going on...

I could, but let's just sit tight for a minute. I will private message you.

Just to be clear, because I think there may be some confusion -

The leaders(internal system calls them 'moderators') that have been assigned, are simply to help manage threads in the forums and their groups.

They are not to be the forum police, or to walk around waving the ban-hammer at anyone who disagrees with them.

I don't have time to be here everyday, or to read every post. Some people that are here everyday, and who (collectively) read every post, have been selected to be able to help. That is all.
