Peg, thought this could be a good adjunct to your thread - folks can post links, books, and other resources that inspire them. Might get lost in the other thread.

BOOKS I like or have found helpful (enough to both recommend and re-read)

"Get Out of Your Own Way"
i liked the practical tips for self-defeating behaviors like negative self-talk, procrastination (and I remembered / love the title!)

"Eat to Lose, Eat to Win" by Rachel Beller, nutritionist and adviser to BiggestLoser

COOKBOOKS? Please share the ones you love. No ads, please.

Ann, I'm hoping you'll post the names and authors of your favorite, tried and true cookbooks that you so often refer to or talk about. I'm sure others who don't read that other thread would benefit.

for individual recipes, folks can just go to the recipe threads.

    Nobody reads books? lol.

That first one sounds interesting to me. Thanks for the recommendation.
$5.24 on Ebay - seems pretty fair.

Susan, one of my favourites is The Skinnytaste Cookbook by Gina Holomoka. She always does a blog at www.skinnytaste.com. All of her recipes are with the WW points new and old versions. I've tried many of them and have never had one I didn't like.

Jason, I read books all the time. My library card rarely cools off. LOL

DW is an avid book fan also, and can burn through a novel or two in just a few days. She says she loves the smell of the paper, and thinks 'dog-earing' pages is a punishable crime

Most of my books currently are limited to bedtime stories like, "Good night, Good night, Construction Site", and "Teeth are not for Biting"
Though, I do enjoy books on more advanced topics when I have the time to read them - which is rarely.
