Cool OP: 250 Weeks In A Row

Yesterday started my 250th week since I became a member of Weight Watchers.

Thatís 250 weeks of making better food choices, using portion control and tracking my food. Itís also 250 weeks of being accountable at weekly weigh-ins and making an attempt to be more physically active.

But, more importantly, thatís maintaining a weight loss of 60 pounds for the last 220 weeks (within those 250 weeks).

Boy, time does fly when youíre having fun!

Thanks Kimberley. It's been 250 weeks - but, really, it's been one day at a time. Amazing how fast those days stack up when you only worry about the present one!

    Angel, Quinny, Trudie - thanks.
It's funny that I keep updating the week in my 3 month tracker, each week. That's how I know this is Week #250.
At some point, I'm going to have to stop counting. LOL.

Once, at a meeting, I shared that "I've tracked every day for the last 227 weeks" (or something like that, whatever the actual week was). And, some people thought I was looney.

I just know that tracking, every day, every week, works for me. So, why not do it?

You know what works for you and look where you are.

During my months of losing, I tracked on paper. You know the whole, your too thin, your not eating enough comments. I have told some that they are welcome to read my food journal. I journal in my head, but I know it's easy to forget something that I have eaten. You are inspiring me to journal on paper for a while. I am maintaining my weight, but I feel like I am getting sloppy.

Trudie - there's so many benefits to journaling, as you know. Plus, it helps me figure out points sometimes without the calculator. How many points is a Portabella Mushroom Cheese "Burger" (no meat, just the huge 'shroom)? Well, I had one last month, so, let me check my journal. Or, I'm looking for a good 0 point snack, what did I use for that three years ago? Let's check some old journals. Oh, wow, roasted fennel. I used to eat that once a month and now I haven'rt had it in years. Let me try that again. Stuff like that.
