Default 120 pounds gone but not forgotten

The first picture is what I look like now at 124.5 pounds. The second is what I looked like at 244.5 pounds. I am the one in the red shirt. I was in a bad relationship and it was just ending. I finally stepped on a scale at a doctor's office and was shocked. I had always been heavy but not that heavy. It took me almost three years to lose 120 pounds. I am now trying to lose to 117 which is my goal that I set. I am thirty years old and that was my wish to be under 200 something I had not seen since I was a basically a child.

Congrats on the HUGE weight loss.

You need to "host" your pictures somewhere instead of linking them from your computer. I use www.photobucket.com, then it will give you an html link that you can add here so we can see the pics!

I am the girl in the red shirt. I was 21 years old in that picture were I was so heavy. The other people in the picture was my nephew, sister, and ex-fiance. The picture now is me at thirty with my nephew on a trip back from a vacation. I have worked over a long time to get this weight off. I tried twice to get it off. The first time failed because I did not do it right. I starved myself right after me and my ex-fiance broke up to prove to him I could lose the weight. When I got back up to 244.5 pounds, I decided to do it right. I started counting calories and exercising and finally doing ww. I am finally keeping it off with my approach.

That's amazing! You don't look like the same person! Do you have people you've known a long time walking by and not knowing it's you?

Everyone that knew me before does not recognize me. They just walk on by until I yell at them. Even my bestfriend from grade school and high school did not recognize me.

Congratulations to you Regina. You look wonderful and your story is absolutely inspiring. It helps so much to know that a "real person" was successful in her weight loss journey.

Nita, I agree with you - she looks like a kid!

PadreC, thanks so much for the help with the pictures. It was great to see them.
